As some have said already, there is far more to the DLC than just the one mission. I've been using Garrus and Javik exclusively during missions, and Javik has a hell of a lot more to say during them. There are also other characters that acknowledge him and ask about him (Which kinda shows that Bioware were just lying when they said it was made post-production, eh?). He definitely adds to the game and its story.

Grenades are fine the turrets are whats bullshit

I love the turrets they put down. I can just hit them with sabotage and they murder every Cerberus asshole nearby without me having to bother. I hate getting flanked by shield guys I didn't even see, especially since the only reliable way to defeat them is with Biotics, and the only party member with Biotics is Liara, who I really don't want to have to take to every mission with Cerberus enemies.

Still, Grissom Academy was the mission that gave me the most trouble in the entire game so far, and I'm getting pretty near the end. That room in particular took me a long time.

Just take Garrus with you. His Armor-Piercing Ammo can be given to the whole squad, which lets you simply shoot right through the Guardians' shields. And besides, why would you not take Garrus with you in the first place?

But if you don't want him with you, just put a Piercing mod on your weapon. Same piercing effect, but without the damage boost.

If this is that Atrium, it was cake as an Adept. Then again, pretty much everything in the game is very easy playing as an Adept with Javik in your party.

I didn't have any problems with this. Just keep your distance.

As someone else said - Biotic Explosions pretty much break this game. Playing an Adept on Insanity you can easily take out an Atlas in 15 seconds just by spamming warp and throw. They couldn't be farther from underpowered.

Correction - Dark Channel followed by (double) Throw. It's great getting off 2 explosions with one ability.

Still fairly early in the game, but I love the look of the Hahne-Kedar armor, atleast on my femshep.

I usually just use Warp followed by a Throw. This gives you two 50% damage/force/radius increases instead of just the one from Warp.

Also, if you have Javik with you, his Dark Channel is fucking amazing for doing biotic combos. Just put it on someone and spam warp. Everything dies.
