...I think the question is, who can be held responsible? Was the game basically as it is now when 3D Realms closed? Or did Gearbox try too hard to "Duke it up", and end up making it terrible? I suppose we will never know what state it was in when Gearbox got it, or what Gearbox even really did, but we can speculate. Full disclosure, I haven't played the game, but I really want to know what people who have think about this.

Why do the people on these streams not even understand fatalities? Everybody in the stream getting down on MK talks about how people win with fatalities, like they're an Ultra in Street Fighter 4, but no one gets that you can't even do one until you finish a match. Are fighting game fans that jaded by Capcom games?

I realize that watching the game isn't a whole lot of fun (though it has a great look), DEFCON would be fun as hell for TNT. I think the commentary potential on that one would be good too. Games are a little long, though, so running more than one game and checking in on the more interesting one would probably be a good idea.
