Hello everybody. This thread has been incredibly helpful, but, I am lost when it comes to the RPG Scavenger set. I just started Torchlight. Other than that, the only other thing close to an RPG I have ever played is Borderlands, so I am wholly unfamiliar with RPG characters and the Monster Mash 5 part quest is driving me bonkers. I managed to get the first 3 quests in the set and the first 2 answers in Monster Mash, but 3-5 is proving to be beyond my deductive abilities. Can anybody offer some different clues?

I couldn't put down the beta when that was still going. Very excited for this game, although it sounds like I should probably get myself a copy of the first game and beat the campaign before March 2nd.

Please, please, PLEASE do a Bombcast this week.

Please.

Even if it is just Pip farting on a snare drum.

I need Bombcast to get through work on cold Wednesday nights.

I accidentally clicked 60 gig when I meant to click 40 gig because I have  a 40 gig and I hate myself and my life.

I've considered trying to borrow my brother's copy. If I could only get him to put it down and let me try it on my laptop it might make my decision easier.

Also, a lot of times when my wife is watching Gray's Anatomy or various other horsecrap shows she likes, I will bring the laptop to the couch and play, so the couch/chair debate isn't too big a deal. Also, I've been known to hook the computer up to my tv anyway... http://twitpic.com/274kr

So it will be a while before I get MW2 because I am broke. Until such day when I can afford to buy the game arrives, I have to decide which system to buy it for. There are distinct advantages and disadvantages to both, so I am hoping the community here can help me decide which will be a better fit for me.

Let's start with the PC version.

PROS
-Will allow me to play more often, as the PS3 is in our living room and used for my daughter's movies and wife's tv shows
-Mouse and keyboard = duh
-More active online community
-Able to play with my brother and a few other friends who have the PC version
-Already have headset for voice communication
-Insanely comfortable with online shooters (Day of Defeat:Source beta tester - mark of pride for me, probably made you LOL)
-Steam achievements way cooler than PS3 trophies

CONS
-Performance (don't have a gaming pc, only my laptop which ran CoD4 singleplayer adequately at best)
-Small laptop screen < 40" HD Samsung
-No dedicated servers (also could be listed as a PRO - NO FORCED QUAKE SOUNDPACKS)

While the cons list is much shorter than the pro list, it should be noted the three cons are fairly huge issues and a lot of the pros are after-thoughty.

-----

PS3

PROS
-Performance...as in, I know it will run it and I won't have to drop the settings and make it look like ass for it to work
-I have an awesome tv and this game would look sexy as hell on it
-Really have enjoyed playing BF 1943 on my PS3 (first console online shooter I got, still going on it)

CONS
-Can't play with friends (at least nobody that I know of on my friends list is playing it)
-Playing with my wired mouse and keyboard would mean sitting on the living room floor to play
-Don't have a bluetooth headset

I am leaning towards the PS3 version just because I am on a PS3 kick lately and I know that the game will run perfectly well on it, but the ability to play more often, play with friends and play with a mouse and keyboard are things I will hugely miss, so if this thing performs well on mid range systems (perhaps I am low-end, actually, it is a laptop...) I may be persuaded to go PC.

What do you think? Please advise.
