I just picked up a pair of V-Moda Crossfade M100's about two weeks ago and love them. I'd say the review on Amazon by narfybob is pretty spot on except I'd still give them 5 stars instead of 4.
"Why would you want MP3 support?!?!? What are you, like, ancient or something? Why does it need that when you can like, turn it on your PC and position the speakers to play into the hallway and just listen with your right ear while positioning your body for maximum listening angle for both the TV and the hallway? Or use your cellphones awesome quality speaker to jam your MP3? Why are people even complaining about this?"
For whatever it's worth OP, it's not okay with me that they don't support something as trivial as MP3, and fuck these fucking fucks in here who want to trivialize that.
The Quick Look versus Review argument is so odd. Me and many others seem to prefer Quick Looks in almost every way, but we also have the time and the interest to keep up with them. Sometimes it could be nice to have more of a bitesized write up where I could find out the general thoughts around a game without having to spend an hour or more watching video footage. Not everyone has the luxury of keeping up with information about games they don't find immediately interesting.
Though some might argue that the podcast would let you know how they feel, but I don't think it's a consistent enough source of information for specific games.
This. I guess i just don't have the time or energy to try to hunt around the various types of blogs and podcasts on the site to find out what the editors think once they complete the game, nor do i think i should have to. I enjoy the quick looks also but they are inherently flawed as replacements for a full review because the reviewer hasn't completed the game yet. In any case glad to know the site is moving away from reviews and people shouldn't be expecting them.
Just curious as to why they never put a review out for this game what with the Vinny/Brad/Rorie/Patrick love going on (of the game!). I figured they were waiting for the PC version but it has come and gone and the Let's Play videos have stopped it seems. Did it just get put on hold indefinitely or is it gonna get revisited sometime in the future?
I have no idea if they make a product for this, and i cant seem to find the right phrase to search for it if they do but i need help finding one!
I have two electrical outlets and a standing lamp in the office, one electrical outlet is controlled by a switch on the wall so when the lamp is plugged into that outlet i can turn it on and off with the wall switch. Unfortunately i can no longer use that outlet as it is being blocked by a futon now, so the lamp has been moved to a different outlet, no longer controlled by the wall switch. Short of running an extension cord from the one outlet to the lamp, do they make a wireless product that i could plug into both outlets that that might solve this problem? I need help, im vernacularly challenged!
Lol i forgot about MGS and Uncharted 2, great games. After looking at both Cryostasis and Cursed Mountain, i think i'm def gonna check both out, despite reviews. They both look really unique and interesting. Gonna go read up on Penumbra and Syberia, anybody know anything about Cold Fear? Is it any good?
