If Kinect fails I think that we will see a new Xbox sooner than not, because it will be more powerful and also have more options, that will offer something more conventional motion controls.

So Kinect right now is targeting the Wii audience with work out games and other more casually oriented games, but nothing yet for the hard core. Sega has been said that we should expect any hard core titles for at least a year from now considering the fact that the devs only have had the kits for it, for about a year.

However hybrid games like Fable 3 are going to use both. How do you think this would work? & will be awesome or a awesome dissappointment?

I am not a huge fan of the games but at least Resistance managed to make a mix sic fi with modern at least. I just really think that a good dev shouldn't give a shit about how relatable the concept is, and it should be their job to make the player feel connected.

People enjoy games that are original and unique, if the devs can make something that people haven't connected with before they are more likely to remember the game and a chance to sell more

But that is a high risk/high reward idea... business don't like that

So there is no doubt that with the success of "Modern Warfare" and its sequel. But lets be honest how many different ways can developers make an M 16 or a P 90.  There is only so many different "close to reality" stories one can with in the current global political climate.  What is more frustrating to me personally is the fact that nothing takes more than a few shots. I miss the epic bullet sponges and big boss battles in other shooters.  I think that this craze is limiting the creativity of digital artists and designers since by design they are very grounded

With this being said, do you think the "Modern War" is the next craze we will have FPS? If so how long until we start up with something else?

Sony has a good platform for the PS3 but when the closest alternative is 1/2 the price its a hard sell in this economy

"You're using the term "fourth wall" incorrectly. The information is displayed on the walls, yes, but Sam isn't aware of them. But, specificaly, breaking the fourth wall would be if Sam was talking to you, the player, about the imaginary stuff being displayed on screen, or what he thinks you should make him do next. Or, just further cemeting the fact that everything that's going on in the game is cheesy, and fictional (they aren't trying to do that, they're trying to immerse you into it's fiction, not poke fun at it). "

Well I am having a hard time describing the experience that I saw in the gameplay. The Gameplay has broken the forth wall, yet the story really hasn't. So the presentation breaks it would you say?

I think that the novelity might wear off if I play through it more than once. Hopefully there is an arcade mode in which you can turn them off

In an interview with the creative lead on Splinter Cell conviction he mentioned that he wants to take the 4th wall down with splinter cell. He is doing this by telling the story and the objectives via lights on walls. This can appear as a still set of lights or as a movie, or as lights tracking along the wall. He said that he wants to tell the story in a more organic and emotional way and have the player never leave it. He made mention of how some games do long cutscenes really well and that is good, but he wanted to do something different. Clearly a call out to Metal Gear.  This story telling style could be very powerful or an annoyance.

So the first question is, do you think that the breaking of the 4th wall story telling style is a good idea?

Question 2, If so do you think that its a better choice than Kojima's 90 minute mini epics?
