I would have liked Tatanga to turn up, considering the games are all about travelling around in space it would have made sense, though I doubt most people at Nintendo even remember him by this point.
The trailer was pretty amazing, hard for the actual to live up to that. Still an open world first person zombie games with a good story could be pretty fun, making it mostly melee based is an interesting idea.
When I was trading in my original xbox to get a 360 I accidently left the Halo 2 disc inside it, they said that the new xbox comes with both the halo games already on it so I might as well trade that in also (keep in mind this was around the launc of the 360) I don't think they were intentionally lying really, just that they'll were pretty clueless.
@gazingout Considering Super Meat Boy is number 2 I don't think using that list as evidence of your theory has much merit to it, also Bayonetta and Super Mario Galaxy 2 don't particularly scream realism either.
I remember enjoying the first game quite a lot even if the supernatural powers you had made it a bit easy, considering the last game came out nearly 4 years ago I'd given up any hope of a second one. I hope they keep some of the sandbox features the first game had, it was hardly as expansive as something like fallout but it was cool to have a city to explore and some side missions you could perform to help power up, hopefully the new developer won't make it more linear.
I hope we at least see him die in Mass Effect 3 and it's not something that happens off screen with just his son telling you about it, there could at least be a final mission to complete with him as part of your party or something.
" I can understand the reasoning why this is being made, but why get the TimeShift guys to do it? "
I was thinking the same thing, I was expecting 343 to be doing this but unless they are busy on doing a new Halo game, this is understandable. "
From the sounds of it that's basically the reason, I'm glad that they are being given more time on a new installment rather than being forced by Microsoft to rush another game out so soon after Reach.
