Since FF12 has already been mentioned, I guess I'll go ahead and admit that I also honestly enjoyed FFX-2. I'd gladly play it again and probably still like it just as much as I did all those years ago.
Going clubbing and dancing is some of the most fun you can have. Just get out there, find your rhythm and go for it.
Pretty much how I started. It was during senior prom, and at first I was really hesitant, but by the time the first song I danced to was ending I was having a blast. Note: I was stone cold sober and had never even tried to dance before then. All I was doing was moving to the beat. Simple enough, really. Even if you are a bit awkward, I'm pretty sure you won't get laughed at unless the club you're at is full of douches. Dancing with a handful of friends also helps ease the nerves.
@Xtrememuffinman: *high fives* That was an awesome game. It makes me miss my old GameCube.
Chocobo's Dungeon 2. A Final Fantasy spin-off if you couldn't tell by the title. I never see it mentioned in any FF discussion, so I feel as if no one else had ever played it when they were kids. I think it was one of my first RPGs and I was absolutely enthralled by it. Never beat it though. It got brutal in some of the last dungeons. I might even still have the disk somewhere.
I've only been twice, but I'd love to go again. Especially back to the nice, warm waters in Hawaii. I don't even have to be doing much at the beach to enjoy myself. I could just chill in the sand all day. If I wanted to actually get some swimming done, though, I'd go to a pool. I'm too much of a chicken to wade out far enough at a beach to the point where I'd have trouble keeping my footing.
" I love the handful of people in this thread claiming that it's "socially unacceptable" to cry when playing a video game. Yet, people have been crying over movies for decades."
Yeah, crying over a movie is equally pathetic. I want to shoot anyone who cries over fiction in the kneecap, just to see how they react to something that is genuinely worth crying over. "
Sure, fictional stories don't happen in real life (duh), but that doesn't stop them from having ideas that can strike emotional chords in people and are easy to relate to, and I say this as someone who has rarely encountered a story/game/movie/whatever that heavily affected my mood. Especially not a video game, so nothing really comes to mind that I can recommend to the OP, sorry.
These threads always inspire me to clean up my icons a bit, which is why I deleted my previous post in this topic. This has always been my favorite wallpaper.
*high fives* As I had posted in a previous thread, BK had some hilariously bad voice-acting, but I still loved it to death and played through it at least twice. It probably other flaws, but the that's what stuck out to me the most when I played it.
I would put down FFXII here, but I don't really love that game. It'd be more accurate to say that I don't mind it.
Didn't feel enough attachment to my high school to buy mine. I don't like wearing rings in general, though, so yeah. I've seen a few of my old high school friends after graduating two years before, and none of them were wearing theirs if they had one.
