Now what I'm noticing is that I'm visiting pages and getting credit for steps in the quest but most of the time I'm not seeing pop-up notifications, so it might be worth keeping a window open with the quest progress tracker and refreshing that occasionally to see how many you have.

Yeah I've attempted about 20 different titles and so far nothing is working. Seems like another case of the hint going live earlier than the triggers. There is one concept page that should make this particular quest a breeze once things are working, and it's not too hard to find either.

After many attempts at logging in/out and visiting Hell, Raccoon City, Silent Hill and Ravenholm, not a single one of them will pop for me. This quest is definitely borked at the moment, or it's not 'officially' launched yet.

@NME: I don't think follower count has much/anything to do with it. Case in point, I've been unable to follow Brad, who has over 40,000 followers.

@eroticfishcake: I actually did a search and scanned the forums before I posted this and your thread didn't come up. All the same, sorry for the duplicate post.

Good call about the link under the forum avatars though, that should work in the meantime.

So in scooting around the site this morning trying to add folks to my follow list for the current quest set, I've noticed that the link on people's profiles to follow them is unreliable at best. I'd say it has only been working for me about 1/3 of the time, tops.

I'm running OS X 10.6.4 and the problem is happening on both Chrome 5.0.375.125 and FireFox 3.6.8

I haven't been able  to discern a common thread, but I do see this error pop up in the JS console: " Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'get' of null" in reference to guest_10007.js, line 1. The :hover state definitely appears on the link, it just seems like the associated script isn't firing.

I despise bullshit marketing schemes like this.

Making friends is not only beneficial to your health and wellbeing, it's great for populating guest lists at parties! But seriously, I'd love some follow/follow-back action

The next closest thing you can do without powering the system off is signing out from your live account/xbox profile on the ION kit from the Guide menu and then signing in from the controller. It's arguably not any faster than powering the system off, but it's pretty much about the same speed as accessing a controller re-assignment menu.
