Unless he gets back up right away, this is a fucking spoiler. It tells us that the joker is going to fake die 2 hours in. So when I get 2 hours in and the game is trying to make me think the joker is dead, I will now not think that.
Here's hoping what he thinks are good about both games agree with my own opinion.
Personally I thought that DA2 had great companion interactions. Like, really good. Whoever said that there is less banter in DA2 is dead fucking wrong. There is so much more. And so much of it was really good. However I thought the story was really bad and of course the level reuse was crazy.
DA1's story was kind of generic in some ways, but I still thought it was great. They did a good job of showing why this dark fantasy world was different from other dark fantasy worlds. I didn't get that so much from DA2, perhaps because of the centralized location.
The combat I can kind of care less about from each. I perfer the slower methodical combat of origins, however I cannot argue the merits of one over the other.
