Bullshit. He says that because in the era or preorders and commercialization of everything, developers don't have time to make a solid single player experience. Well, most do, as we still have New Vegas, RDR, Darksiders, etc. SP won't die, but it's already pretty rare for a company to flesh out a good SP RPG.
I hope this sells like shit and Bethesda or no other third party dev will ever be teased to make an exclusive deal like this. I bought the game for full price, I want to enjoy it just as anyone else, and have the option to purchase extra content.
So I bought NV a few days ago, and I realized that only 7 people were playing the game on Steam (based on achievements). That seemed odd to me, I checked what could be wrong and I found out that the eastern european version of the game is somewhat different on Steam (basically the game is the same, no content/gore locks or anything) but for some stupid reason my version (I live in Poland) has a separate achi list. Would it be possible to just merge both player bases on GB and keep 1 Steam achi list?
This is insane. WoW only charges 15 bucks a month and I can create 50 characters. No microtransactions (not counting the crappy minipets that you can buy in the Blizzard store, since they're not anything necessary to play the game), no bullshit. Besides, I've heard terrible things about FF XIV. So why would anyone buy this instead of picking up WoW or charging your existing WoW account and wait for Cataclysm?
I skipped the first one because I didn't feel like it added that much for the price, but since this is basically two packs in one, I will probably get it.
