I've finished more than 20 games so far this year, but only 1 has been from 2014. Dark Souls 2.

Oh man, EverQuest. No game will ever hold such a special place in my heart as EQ does.

Played on Seventh Hammer from late '99 to.... Oh I don't know, was it Omens of War or something? Pretty sure the level cap was 70 at the time. I had many characters over that time, but my main was a gnome magician called Ozek.

Absolutely nothing like the magical feeling of adventure and wonder that I experienced with my time on EQ. Zones like The House of Unrest will forever live on in my memory. Just an epic experience from the moment I started playing.

I remember Demons Souls just coming out of nowhere and EDGE giving it a 10, basically saying it was one of the greatest games of the generation, if not ever. Yet still nobody seemed to take much notice.

I myself faulted so far into Demons Souls, though I completely recognised the praise certain outlets such as EDGE were giving the game.

Fast forward a couple of years and Dark Souls is released. It took awhile, but the game has legs like few others, and I think its finally starting the click with people and seeing the regognition and respect From deserve.

Oh how convenient lol. Yes I think ill head into Sens now and maybe see if I can pick myself one of then bad boys up to have a play around with.
