Man, all this heart beat sensor talk totally reminds of the last time I saw this sensor in another game. Anyone ever play Rainbow Six 3: Ravenshield and remember the death goggles?

The games implementation of the  tool was pretty well balanced. In order to use the heart beat sensor (it looked like a pair of binoculars) you had to holster your weapon and bring the sensor up to your face. Giving you a thermal vision kind of view with little blips of a detected a heart beat. The range was some what short. They were nick named death goggles because usually what would happen, is that the person using them was always hunting for the last player. Looking in the wrong direction and getting shot in the back. Everyone would be watching via the player cameras and betting on the outcome, lol.

"Inconsistent frame rates, popping textures, and intolerably long space elevator load times were the biggest offenders in the original game"

You know you didn't have to wait for Mass Effect 2 for those improvements, I played Mass Effect on the PC and experienced only minor texture popping. I hope the Bioware community stuff is integrated into Mass Effect 2 in such a way that Dragon Age: Origins has done as well (on the PC). I also keep my fingers crossed for Wrex, I managed to keep him alive through the original game. My save file is so ready for Mass Effect 2!

 Atlus USA's facebook page put up a photo album titled " Atlus-O-Weenie", inside is what I assume is some American only cosplay.  There is also a contest involved where the 'like' tally for the photos will determine prize winners.

These two shots take the cake though...

You do realize that's a visual computation of the game world physics right?

This is part of my comment on Jeff's quicklook;
 "This game has it's own set of world physics that attempt to mimic/simulate the real world. Some parts of Forza represent grip racing better than others, but like GranTurismo it is a blend between sim/arcade."

I don't think any of you have said outright how to help this guy out.

Generally..... the way you play with out traction control is to learn to manage the power of the car. Every car will be faster with traction control off (this how the game is designed). You need to learn to be easy on the accelerator and "feel" if you will for the (pretty hard with plastic controllers haha) sweet spots when coming out of corners. This requires a lot of patience and practice with the analog button. Where as with traction control, you can literally just slam on the gas during corner exiting. This is how I play, a lot more fun for me personally. There is more depth to it but I hope you get the general idea and move from there. Good luck.
