Actually, only a handfull of journalists and participants complain about E3, the inevitable small percentage that always does. Most of the others find it quite normal and jolly good fun.
The end of the universe is hypothetical, whereas our own individual demise is quite certain. One should concern oneself with THAT, not some pseudo scientific fantasy.
How true, and it IS so demeaning to be forced to rub elbows with commoners. That's the always been the problem with uplifting the masses---they start to believe it themselves.
No matter how far we advance, no matter what we do, in the end none of it will matter, and everything that has ever existed will cease to exist as the universe collapses in on itself.
Well, E3, the real E3, not the locked down, restricted, booth babeless, sanitized version they had a few years ago, has always been like that--sometimes even worse. It's a "media circus" in every way. If you can't handle the "madding crowd" when you get there, you should avail yourself of the first exit, and, please, don't touch the booth babes, on the way out, they show every mark.
Someone who likes "Attack of the Show" should feel right at home wallowing in the filth and schlock humor of the new Duke. If they don't, the game is truly an epic fail, having missed it's targeted audience......
