Once you reach Hell I can imagine there will be entire video's dedicated to completing one level. Don't think you could have picked a more frustrating game for your debut. =D When can we expect Part 2?

FYI, that bandage you got in the warp of 1-19 didn't count.  You have to finish the entire warp zone for any bandage you got in it to save.  IE, get the bandage in the 2nd level and then just try to complete the warp zone, don't worry about getting the bandage in the 3rd level (although it's hard NOT to get that one once you see it).   If a warp zone doesn't have a secret character in it, it'll have two bandages (not three).  You can tell which ones you got on the top right side of the thing at the bottom of the screen that tells you the name of the warp zone.
 
Some of them also just aren't possible to get with meat boy; that's what the secret characters are for.
 
I agree with the above, it's very entertaining, even though I'm well beyond this point, to see someone experience it for the first time.  Well done so far and good luck.  I also think there's going to be a point where you're spending 30+ minutes on one level; more if you're trying to A+ everything all the way through.  I've completed most of the dark world but there are still some light worlds levels I haven't A+d - it comes down to fractions of a second in some cases.

I'd love to post my impressions of the PC version but it keeps crashing on me. From what I did the play the keyboard controls seemed fine.

Great, it's like Nicholas Cage playing SMB. Your face ruins it though. The Nic Cage sensation I mean.

@Jasta: After much fighting with Youtube, part 2 is finally up! :D

I bought the game but haven't played it. School's almost over so I'll get on it once that's done. I can't wait to see the new Tofu Boy update tomorrow though!

I appreciate a lot of things going on here.  First, as a fellow beardsman, I salute you.  As someone who really enjoyed this game, I'd have to recommend going for the full 100%.  It's one of the most satisfying completions I've ever had!  I'm also interested in seeing some of the stuff on the PC versions that won't be available on Xbox ( the extra characters and what not).  Keep em comin'!

I know you said you weren't going to 100% the game, but are you planning to try the dark world levels at all eventually?  The early ones aren't all that nasty, really.
  
About that second level of the warp zone that you couldn't figure out how to get past (11:45~13:20) - you have to jump to the right of the second platform (of the four), then loop back and catch the right side of it to do a wall jump off of it.  If I remember right, that gives you a powerful enough jump (if you do it right) to catch the left side of the third platform, and the rest is pie. 
 
Also, the warp portal in 3-7 that you couldn't figure out how to get to (~15:15) is reachable with Jill and probably Commander Video (I used Jill, but in retrospect, Commander Video would probably have been easier).

Just caught this, went straight to four. The music was pretty cool. But still, watching the game made me squirm.
