Games I have finished ...

Here is the list of games I have finished and I have played all of them on PC. Games that I am currently playing or haven't finished won't be included in it. And also It will get updated every time I finish a new game. Also I include the games that can't be finished ( Like Civilization ) only when I play them for a good amount of time.

The list is sorted from my most favorite games to least favorite ones (** UPDATE: not anymore, thanks to Giantbomb changing their listing system). Expansion packs, DLCs and games which were not marketed as a new stand-alone game or sequel are sorted at the end of the list (Also not anymore).

List items

  • Extremely repetitive. I heard a lot about the quality of the story. Although the story writers clearly tried to write something respectable, but I had a hard time caring about any of the characters, events or twists. 5.7/10

  • A well made Diablo clone and an improvement over its predecessor. 7.3/10

  • *Prepare to die Edition* One of the most engaging, challenging and satisfying games I have ever played. It will give you a hell to overcome, but the heaven you feel after that is indefinable. 8.8/10

  • POP 3D truly lives up to its name. It transforms the classic POPs into a 3D game. Although some aspects like Prince's slow movements don't do well in 3D and make the game annoying sometimes, but unpredictable combat, good soundtracks, nice level design and overall, a great sense of progression make POP 3D a real treat. Shame it even failed to become a cult-favorite. 8/10

  • From Shank 2 to this. Hats off to Klei Ent. A true stealth title. 8.1/10

  • A gritty atmospheric joyride. Although it's short and there's not much variety, but there are very few games that offer such a fast and compelling game-play. 7.7/10

  • Although Samorost 2, like its predecessor, is very short, ( less than 1 hour ) but during this little time, it manages to set you in a certain mood and deliver a surreal and visually/musically imaginative experience. 6.9/10

  • A pure recycle, but a fair one. SP is mildly fun, Spec Ops is improved by the level-up system and MP maps are cool. Your average MW experience. 7/10

  • Too much Burnout and not enough NFS. A disappointing attempt from Criterion after Hot Pursuit. 6.2/10

  • A masterpiece of presentation and character development. Although its graphics, music, game-play or even the main story are pretty average and the choices you make don't have the desired impact, but in the end, TWD thrills, immerses and moves you in a way that few other works of fiction can. 8.6/10

    --------------------------

    400 Days DLC

Introduces some interesting characters and promises an interesting sequel. 7/10

  • So much wasted potential. Game is so easy and straightforward that sometimes the description directly points out the thing you need for solving the puzzle. SU is a clearly a title directed at kids and I'm sure it does a good job at making their creativity flow. But for serious gamers, the only reason for playing SU that there's nothing quite like it. 6.5/10

  • Short, easy and sometimes repetitive, but smooth controls, original game-play mechanics and a good story make TSoT a solid experience altogether. 8.2/10

  • Renovated combat system is extremely appreciated, but generic level design (which makes the long campaign repetitive sometimes, especially since you have to backtrack every now and then) and the new dark theme and badass prince which fall flat compared to tSoT's fairy tale atmosphere bring the game down. 7.9/10

  • TT takes SoT's atmosphere and WW's combat system and the result is an acceptable conclusion to an interesting trilogy. Although TT's extreme resemblance to its predecessors in all of the aspects makes it boring and repetitive sometimes. Dark prince sections remedy this problem a bit, but they're not enough. 8.1/10

  • Doom truly lives up to its name and that says a lot. A true pioneer for the gaming industry. 8.8/10

  • The new chapter is as fun as original Doom chapters and the engine upgrade enhances the whole experience to a great extent. 8.1/10

  • Doom II is basically Doom and the new additions (even the almighty super shotgun!) are fit for an expansion pack rather than a full sequel. But id compensated this shortcoming in terms of level design. Not only there are a lot more levels in Doom II, but they are also well designed and it's always fun to explore them. 8.2/10

    --------------------------

No rest for the living DLC: 9 additional levels using Doom II engine which are longer and a bit more challenging than Doom II levels(due to the fact that items are carefully placed and are not as plenty as before). You won't lose much if you don't play it, but for any Doom fan who couldn't get enough of the game-play, NRFTL is a worthy addition. 8/10

  • I believe this is an FPS expansion done right. Although it’s basically the same game with a shorter length (which in case of Doom game-play, it’s a good thing), but new additions like slow-mo , grabber and double barreled shotgun make it a worthwhile experience for Doom fans. 7.3/10

  • Creative, remarkable and underrated, just like other Tim Schafer games. I liked everything about it, even the RTS sections which get heavily criticized by the majority. 8.3/10

  • *Komplete Edition* A great revival of the beloved franchise. Full of interesting content which demand hours to be fully explored. 8.1/10

  • Reconstructing the 90s and the eerie atmosphere were brilliant, but the anti-climatic ending and leaving many interesting details (like the house being hunted) without a satisfying conclusion ruined the experience. 6.3/10

  • Way too repetitive and plain to be anything groundbreaking, but it was a necessary reboot for the series. 6.9/10

  • Leaves you conflicted with all the choices you have to make, just like the first one. I liked it. 8/10

  • * (DLCs included) This is PB at its least ambitious state so far. Removing old fashioned magic and bows/crossbows was a mistake, but still, the PB charm is still there, lighting up the whole experience. 7.9/10

  • (Redux version) A technical improvement over its predecessor, but I didn't like the fact that the plot focused on the politics of the Metro rather than its more mysterious aspects. 8.3/10

    -------------------------------

    DLCs:

The Chronicles Pack which lets you play as other familiar characters was very cool. The Spider's Lair had a memorable ending. Tower Pack was one hell of a challenge. And as it was mentioned before, the "Kshatrya" level is the closest thing you can find to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in Metro's universe. Overall, I liked them.

    The Factions Pack

    The Tower Pack

    The Developer's Pack

    The Chronicles Pack

    8/10

  • A blast to play for any fan of the show and a solid game on its own. 8.2/10

  • Although for a licensed game in early 2000s, H&R is quite solid and also a great addition to the Simpsons franchise, but the filler main missions, messed up collision detection and the time-wasting coin-collection sessions (which are mandatory if you want to finish the game 199%) bring the experience down. 7.4/10

  • It took me around 5-6 years to finish all three campaigns. It was a nice touch to create a different campaign for each class, but the game-play is too shallow to warrant this. Also I was a bit unaffected by the "charm" Nox was trying to convey. 7/10

  • The first half of the game, when you're fighting human opponents, is as good as a shooter can get thanks to the the sandbox level design and the special armor, which is plain fun to use it, but the second half of the game, when aliens are introduced, there is a noticeable drop in quality, even in the department of the spectacular visuals. 8.1/10

  • One of the most attractive depictions of street racing culture. Although the constant repetition of some race tracks made the whole experience see a bit overlong. 8/10

  • More of the same, but in case of Crysis, that's a good thing. Alien levels were a big improvement over the original. 7.5/10

  • I didn't expect to be actually "addicted" to an adventure game, but DOTT did it for me. The crazy logic in the game that is hinted at in every dialogue and item description demands you to think outside the box and the result is nothing short of rewarding. 8.9/10

  • It's not a run of the mill expansion, to say the least. Shivering Isles was the perfect mixture of mad and soothing. 7/10

  • Telltale's gimmicks are becoming stale and ineffective by this stage and are in need of an overhaul, but by God, those guys know how to create tension. 7.9/10

  • F.E.A.R. 3 is an ordinary FPS at its core and not much of a horror product, but thanks to some really neat design choices, the whole experience is greatly elevated. The most prominent one is the challenge based combat system, which encourages you to try different approaches when fighting enemies and therefore, it prevents the combat getting repetitive. 8/10

  • When it comes to outrageous ideas and crazy troll logic, S&M: BTaS truly delivers. God bless Telltale for reviving S&M like this. 8.2/10

  • If it wasn't for all those time-wasting side-quests and side-activities that didn't have any relevance and didn't provide any sense of achievements whatsoever, AC 3 could have been the best installment in the franchise. The amount of historical depth it provides about American revolution is outstanding. 8.2/10

    ------------------------------

The Tyranny of King Washington DLC

It's worth playing for the exclusive supernatural abilities alone.

    7.2/10

  • Some people claim W3D is the reason we have the FPS genre. While this claim is disputable, but it's safe to say that W3D set the bar for FPS very high early in its development and saved us from a lot of unnecessary trial-and-error experiments and unambitious drudgeries. 8.9/10

  • I played SoD right after I finished W3D, so the lack of anything new made it boring for me. But the increased difficulty and the great quality of the new levels' design was something to appreciate. 7.2/10

  • *HD Remake* A vast improvement over the original. The variety of game-play between Kurt, Max and Dr. Hawkins is outstanding. 8.2/10
