I am from Kentucky and have a little Southern drawl. Works perfectly fine for me. Speaking slow and casually seeme to deliver 95% accuracy for me. I love it.
I had my Xbox One pre-ordered at my old Gamestop store. So, I worked until 11:30 at my new store and then drove to my old store to pick up the console. Yeah, pretty anti-climactic.
Picking up a console at launch is always like this. Remember when the 3DS was a waste of time with no games? Console launches are always short on games and high on promise.
I picked up a PS4 with AC4, Killzone, Need for Speed, and BF4. I have been playing Resogun more than any of the disc games. I loved Geometry Wars and Super Stardust HD/Delta. So, it is nice to have a game like this.
I am getting my Xbox One tonight and it is a huge bummer to not have a Geometry Wars kind of game to go with it. You would think they would have gone hard at that since the first two games did so well for them. But, eh well. ON TO FORZA!
I picked up a PS4 last week and got my multi platform on with that (Need for Speed, Ass Creed, and Battlefield 4). So, for the Xbox One I am gonna go exclusives off the bat (Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5). I got a free code for Killer Instinct from Microsoft and I will probably tack on LocoCycle or Crimson Dragon despite the bad press.
It is a shame it isn't coming out this week for PS4. Because once I get my hot hands on Forza 5, I just don't know if there is going to be enough room in my life for NFS.
I don't care for the amount of throw on the shoulder buttons, considering they are a binary click and not analog. But, yeah. The start, select and home buttons aren't great. But, the smaller scale of the face buttons has never had a negative effect on my gameplay experience.
I think the story in IV was better. But, the gameplay refinements, multi-character story structure, wider range of vehicles with upgrades, and graphical improvements make this a better overall game. I just wish the story didn't chug to a stop in the back third.
