Look if you want to talk influence it goes this way. Every first game in every genre influenced games up to this day, simple as that. Without them there would be nothing.
@video_game_king: Hell dude give it a year, can point you some indie games influenced by its story telling. Many up coming games will take that path, influence is not restricted just to past. Even The Order 1886 looks influenced by the way it tells its story.
@video_game_king: Yes Heavy Rain and The Last Of Us are influential in the way of story telling and gameplay innovations, only older game i played like that was Fahrenheit or Indigo Prophecy if you in US.

see someone mention CoD, you are fucking joking right. Thanks to CoD most games started chasing online play even tho the best experience is single player for those genres, example GTA V, they sacrificed so much from signature single player GTA for boring, broken, repetitive online. What else did CoD do, well annual shit releases that many devs jumped on.... What else, not much innovations year on year, but hell people want to pay 60 smackers for same game with new maps, what can one do except try to play deeper games to keep the industry alive :)
Guys just a quick question. My Internet contract with Telstra expires tomorrow on the 4th. Now i have already processed the new provider and it wont be connected until the the 8th. The lady on the phone said do not cancel my current one until the new one is connected, which is 4-5 days.
So do i have to call my current provider to ask for a week extension or do they basically renew it every month?
