It's such an obvious choice to go with this game because of how undoubtedly awesome it's going to be, but I mean come on, did you see them play it at Sony's conference? I mean... fucking god damn!

New Super Mario Bros. is fine for what it is, but for my money, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is probably the best 2D platformer released in the past ten years. Every sublevel of that game bleeds creativity and interesting mechanics, and even without the bongos the game constantly keeps you guessing and is ridiculously fun. Watching the demo of this, I get a definite Jungle Beat vibe with NSMBWii's four-player. That's a good thing.

This, while nowhere near as appealing as Super Mario just on a base level, is the other reason why I haven't forgotten that the 3DS exists.

There's honestly not a lot to go on from that trailer - hell, it wasn't even a particularly great trailer if we're being honest - but I love me both some Brothers in Arms and some Inglourious Basterds, so I'm willing to give it a chance.
