What is the deal with microsoft and games in there "Games for Windows" range not being Live enabled? What the hell is the point of being Games for Windows certified if it doesn't  imply you can chat and connect with your friends across microsoft products or get your gamerscore up. I'm pretty sure a PC game without the certification at the moment is just as useful as the one that does have the cert. If they want to get people into this they need to set some standards. It's so half hearted right now. I'm under the impression the PC version of Prototype doesn't support Live, correct me if i'm wrong people! Please :O

Great to see what they're doing with the boss battles. Multiple points of attacks inside and out. Have all your buddies working on different targets all at once looks like a lot of fun to try and coordinate and pull off without having someone die.

Can't wait to see how big these things actually get. Doubt they'll beat serious sam though :D.

Vista is great with modern hardware. If you haven't taken the plunge yet though you should hold out for Windows 7.... and maybe its first service pack a year down the track.

@raidingkvatch: Normally get achievements for PC version as well these days btw. It's how i got all my Fallout 3 achievements. They're connected systems now, long as the game uses Games for Windows - Live.

Great preview Brad.

On another note I'd love some developers to get this point. I've heard that word "accessible" again and it makes me want to throw something at the guy. Making games "Accessible" in general makes games bloody boring for those of us who have actually played games a year or two.... or looking back 20 for me. Now there are a good many exceptions to this rule, blizzard as an example makes games that are easy to play but hard to master. On the other hand the Wii game catalogue as a whole is something that fits in the steaming pile of accessible crap area.  Making games hard, making them require a manual, making them involve skill is NOT a bad thing. I want deep backstory, deep game mechanics, something that a few months in i see my mate playing it and go "wholly crap you can do that? i had no idea!". If there is no learning curve, if i can jump in straight away and know the game inside and out then i'm probably not going to stick around long because it's the same old predictable thing again. The point of this long winded comment is this, there is a market for sure for accessible games that complete novices can get into it's undeniable (sigh, Wii sales), but its been awhile since i saw a game that people actually had to 'learn' to be truly proficient playing.
