Luckily, if you already have the games you don't lose them.

This only affects new buyers. Granted, the game was on sale lt couple of months, so most peopleted it will have already got it. (disappointed)

I have 1347 hours into DoW2 (+Expansions) does that count for anything?

Granted, it's mostly multiplayer so it's a bit different.

Can't wait to have to log in to 7 different accounts and install all sorts of shitty DRM!

Brought GTA IV + DLC for $10 in a steam sale not too long ago and I closed the fucking game when it told me I couldn't save my game unless I registered in 3 different places.

I really can't be bothered with your shit Rockstar, it's downright inconvenient to play a game I don't have much of an interest in anyway.

@Lazyaza:

What part of that doesn't make sense?

Valve isn't about to piss off all the people who bought Crysis 2 by removing it from their game collection.

@Guibone:

While I agree, I think at this point it's a matter of "I like having all my games in one organized place" for most people. It's like if EA launched it's own store on Xbox/Ps3 and you had to buy anything published by them on there (as well as log into an EA account to play their games online, which you basically already have to do in some cases).

Why would I bother with this or the MGS collection when I can play MGS 1 through 4 on my PS3, and play Peace Walker on my PSP?

"Durrhurr buy games you already have AGAIN"

I suppose it's not any different than what has been done with all the rereleases of stuff like final fantasy, chrono trigger etc but that always made a bit more sense to me because the original systems those games were on were dead.

My backwards compatible PS3 is still working just fine thanks.

Could be Rise of the White Wolf.

Wasn't that supposed to be a port of Witcher 1 onto a new engine?

Releasing Witcher 1 remastered on the witcher 2 engine would be amazing with all the gameplay improvements and what not.  Besides, it makes the most sense to continue with your plans to port the first game over before sending the second game over.

@Lord_Yeti:

Wrong.

In order to get this character, you have to preorder the special edition of the game.

With Shale, you only had to buy a new copy of the game.

This isn't a new thing in gaming. PC gaming has had to deal with it for over a decade. (Legally, anyway)

Be glad that you only have to spend $10, and not buy a whole new copy of the game.
