Linux is a great OS, but there are still caveats to using it as a daily driver. Like most people have said most of the popular distros like Ubuntu and SUSE come with easy to use GUI environments, but it definitely helps and makes life a lot easier knowing how to operate a command line. I'm in school learning Information Security and pretty much all of the best tools are on Linux. Honestly the only reason why I run Windows on my PC is because of gaming.
I myself have been a user of Giant Bomb since the beginning, and a premium sub since day one. I've always been a luker in the community and never really post (evident by my post count), but this dicussion for whatever reason really made me want to contribute.
What always made me enjoy Giant Bomb over other gaming websites was the original content and personalities. I enjoy the humor and banter between the guys, and respect their opinions about video games. I agree that the site has chaged but I have faith it will improve to more peoples liking.
I feel like my taste in video games are similar to Jeff and can understand his opinions of games as of late. For me there's not a lot of games that are exciting, and I know a lot of people will bash me for saying that. I know there is a lot going on in the indie scene but to be honest a majority of that stuff doesn't excite me.
I think that once exciting games start coming out the site will be back to how it was before. Give it time duders! Once E3 comes around hopefully we will all have something to get exited about and discuss here!
GSP disappointed many of his fans in this fight. Hardy lasted 5 rounds with the champ and proved to everyone that he deserved his title shot. If Hardy can develop takedown defense he'll definitely become a top WW contender.
Also GSP is staying at WW. Everyone wants to see a GSP/Silva fight but it probably won't happen. GSP's next fight needs to be Fitch or Koscheck and it's more likely going to be Koscheck.
And Lesnar vs. Carwin is happening at UFC 116 on July 3.
The game's story is making me very curious and anxious to play it. It seems like the player's actions have a toll on the game that's actually worth caring about.
