Here's my take on it.

Phones are bad at games. There are some gems, but not enough to recommend one platform over the other as a gaming device. That said, iPhone has a larger app selection, and iOS is rock solid in stability. With Android, you have way more hardware options, so you can get a huge screen or whatever neat features the manufacturer includes.

For me personally, I favor the iPhone. I owned an iPhone 5 for two weeks before returning it because Sprint's service was abysmal. I went to T-Mobile and got the Nexus 4, which is a great phone, but I miss the iPhone every time I browse the app store or Chrome decides to crash.

@fiercedeity: It depends on the game. Call of Duty is a fast-paced, twitch shooter. Games that rely heavily on reflexes and speed are going to benefit more from running at 60 FPS. A game like Thief, which is way more meticulous in its gameplay, can make that trade-off because it's on the opposite end of the spectrum as far as player skillset. 60 FPS is great; I love it. But you'd have to tone down or cut out the elements of what make some games good for them to obtain that speed.

The film isn't intended to be a true adaptation of the novel. Simple as that, really.

@chrissedoff: Thanks for attempting to bring some sense to this thread.

@secondpersonshooter: Seems to me they are just experimenting over and over again. They may not care about the events of the game at all from a moral standpoint.

Couple more observations:

Notice that in the after-ending credits, Booker's apartment still looks like shit with empty alcohol bottles laying around. Doesn't even seem like a great father.

Also, Rapture was built in the mid-40s, so the lighthouse analogy isn't constrained by time. As long as there is a "man, a city, and a lighthouse".

I don't think we'll see anymore Bioshock games out of Irrational. This game pretty much explains how that entire universe works.

Something I don't get/rubs me the wrong way:

Comstock had to die at his birth to prevent everything from happening. Why then, is the Booker who did not accept the baptism (the one you're playing as) killed? All the Elizabeth's disappeared, again indicating that the "good" Booker was killed because the "bad" one who created Columbia is sterile.

It's just kind of fucked up that the Booker who is a father dies, and the evil dictator lives (but doesn't get a heir to the throne, presumably). I hope I'm wrong.

@ekami: The liberals already lost that battle. Now the war is on Easter.
