Wouldn't it be a bit over power on one side or the other with MK? Seeing as how pretty much all MK characters have most of the same moves.
But yeah, I think everyone would rather see CvS3, but that will just have to wait, I guess. Let's hope once it does come to light it's done right, like CvS2.
I 100% Agree with the SNK choice, even though I was a bit disappointed in SvC Chaos (the only SNK fighter I really took naturally to was Garou). I keep my Dreamcast hooked up for the explicit purpose of playing Garou and CvS2.
It's really hard to imagine how MK characters would interact with Capcom characters. I've tried to visualize it before, and it just doesn't work in my head.
Also: Capcom vs Arc System Works, anybody? It would be unplayable without giving Capcom characters insane mobility, or taking away the mobility of the Arc characters. Either way, tons of people would be unhappy.
I owned that for PC, loved it as a kid, and even I would not recommend that. Thanks for the memories, though! I agree with Jeff with MK being at the top. Seeing MK vs DC with a teen rating gives me hope they can still do a SF vs MK without the expectation of Ryu being decapitated.
I would also like to add that if we're talking about Capcom as a whole and not just Street Fighter (as your Capcom vs SNK suggests) then I would like to see a Capcom vs SEGA. I think Golden Axe, Eternal Champions, Vectorman, Streets of Rage, etc. all have characters that would fit Capcom's cartoony/ink visuals.
I agree with a Capcom X MK. That would be fantastic. I have no interest or likeness for Tekken. I feel like Capcom are wasting their resources making this game to be honest. They could be doing bigger and better things. Prehaps a fighting game under a new I.P. I would like that.
But for MK vs SF, Capcom would have to lower their standards. Who do they look like, DC Comics?
But on a serious note, I couldn't see that working. MK without fatalities is a bad idea. And Ryu or Chun Li getting their spines ripped out... Never gonna happen.
I'm always worried about the legacy of NeoGeo. Have you heard anything about this year's King of Fighters? KOF12 sucked ass last year and I thought they might take a tip from SF and MK and just revitalize the system in '98. Ultimate Match was one of my favorite fighting game releases last year. I'm glad to see someone give SNK the respect it deserves. Otherwise I'd like to see how crazy a mash up with Psychic Force would be.
Street Fighter Vs. ClayFighter would be awesome. Throwing a snowball at Ken's face as Bad Mr. Frosty is something I would definitely pay to do. Hadouken that shit!
Have to agree with MK. The fighting style compares alot more than tekken. Can't see how they'll strike the balance beween the gameplay of tekken vs gameplay of SF
" MK would need to take out the fatalities then... and that would be lame. Actually I don't know about that. Those do get old pretty fast. "
The Capcom developed game would not have the fatalities probably but the MK developed one would. I'd love to see what they'd do with SF character fatalities, you know Bison would have the gnarliest one. Also, Skullomania better be in there.

" Capcom vs. Whatever that shitty Star Wars fighting game was. "
I would certainly much rather have a Capcom vs SNK 3. Maybe that's because I like both sides and each character already has a moveset with very little conversion needed. Plus I can understand what is happening on screen, which is always a plus.

MK will only happen after there is a GOOD MK. So prolly after 9 comes out.
