The problem with this bill is that overweight people aren't costing medicaid money because they're overweight, they're costing medicaid because their lifestyles are unhealthy. Even people who aren't overweight can be unhealthy and costing medicaid money. So, why does this bill only target overweight people? Why not people with unhealthy lifestyles in general? It's prejudicial to only target the overweight in this manner, but they're doing it because overweight people are an easy target.

Thinking on it, we'll probably get a new trailer on the 17th. We started seeing the blurry image of Yukiko the same day she starts showing up on the midnight channel. Then we got the full color trailer on the 16th of April - the day Yukiko is thrown into the T.V. So if we follow that pattern, we'll get another color trailer on the 17th - the day Kanji gets thrown in.
That actually makes sense, because in P4 whenever somebody was thrown in, a clear image came up on the TV as opposed to a fuzzy image. So it would follow that we would get something more substantial on those same days.

Like I've said, 5-10 years with required alcohol rehabilitation is what I would want for this guy.  But, we're all talking about this from a far.  When it is someone you know and love it is different guaranteed.  You wouldn't think about the justice system and what is morally right.  Think if this were your daughter or son that had been killed.  You would view this differently.  Talking about justice is done by those that haven't been effected.  The death penalty isn't just for this guy.  But if I were a friend or family member I would have a hard time keeping justice in view in front of my hate.  All I'm saying is to be sympathetic and understand why a person would want to have the death penalty for this guy.  It may not be just or morally right but I imagine the parents of the person who died might not care.
Of course I would have a hard time being rational about justice in a situation like that, and that is exactly the reason why I shouldn't be deciding that person's fate. If somebody wanted somebody else dead because of something like this, I wouldn't blame them at all for it. But I also wouldn't think they're necessarily right about it.

He should be killed. Spend our tax money on better things.
It actually costs more money to execute somebody in our legal system than to send them in prison for life. So if you want to spend tax money on better things, don't kill him.
Now I'm curious after reading this thread. How much does it roughly cost to execute somebody in the american system? Is it just legal fees and admin stuff that cost all the money (surely the injection fluid or bullet or whatever don't cost too much)?
It's mostly legal fees because it takes years to get through all of the appeals, but there's also the issue of extra security in prison. Death row inmates have their own cells and area of a prison, they have no contact with the rest of the general prison population, and their are several guards who monitor just the death row inmates.

I'm not saying I don't think the guy shouldn't be punished.. But I'm constantly shocked when I see people who are actually firm believers of "an eye for an eye" or the death penalty.  Do people seriously consider that to be justice?
It's easier to say that when you're not the one effected by the crime.
Being affected by a crime personally doesn't give you any more right to decide a person's punishment than anybody else. The point of the justice system isn't to satisfy the will and desires of those hurt by the crime, it's to protect society. Decisions of punishment should be made on the basis of the public interest, not what the family wants.

So what, can games not portray any negative aspects of a female character without being misogynist?
