http://arcadeage.com/ This just opened in Tallahassee, FL. Looks like these guys are trying to keep it real by rescuing machines and hosting game nights.

Original Fallout. The Monkey Island remakes were great. King's Quest VI. Original Legend of Zelda.

BAD POINTS: I played as a human and really wanted to try to make a mean, gruff character (allied with Grenth etc.). The campy upbeat dialogue of the cutscenes made me wince and really seemed to point to the fact that the player has no control over the actual story / campaign. In my head I'm a mean SOB then CUT to chipper happy cutscene......The lack of point and click to move / target is disappointing to me too. I wish they'd have made the player have an option of WASD or old school GW1 controls. GOOD POINTS: The world was very well done especially the cities. I pumped the graphic settings to ultra and it looked great. I didn't get a chance to mess with the crafting systems but I do appreciate another layer of depth.

Although I found the game to be very fun, my control issues made the weekend event almost unplayable. My WASD controls were barely working at all on my wireless keyboard but all other buttons and the wireless mouse seemed to work just fine. I would hold W to go forward and 10-15 paces my character would stop. This doesn't seem like typical lag. I lowered my graphics from ultra settings to lowest and it didn't fix the problem. My only work around was to use the auto-run function, which sort of broke the experience. Did anyone else experience this? Did anyone else have any game-breaking bugs?

Someone talk me off this ledge. I've been so excited this week. 3rd play through and all I needed was to craft the great shield of artorias and the great lord great sword. I'm practically popping champagne for my d.s. platinum trophy. I craft my weapons.......... Nothing. I pull out my checklist which I've checked many times and I'm missing the dark hand. Wtf!!!!!!!!!!! I've joined the dark wraith covenant I have the trophy. The dark hand was here at the end of playthough 2 I know it was!! Is his the final sick demented dark souls twist?!?!? aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggggg!

Agree with The Witcher series. Although I'd give an honorable mention to Bubble Bobble or Marble Madness.

Also, in the Painted World of Aramais I was doing speed runs for Souls / Humanity which netted a decent amount. Once you open the shortcut run through kill the slimy things (starting at the first bonfire) for about 7K souls then run though the level killing the white rats and then use the miracle to return to the fire and repeat. The Depths was better for humanity but you barely get any souls; this route you get some of each.

@xobballox I'm on board sign me up! Only one life to live! If I were to make this I'd structure it so only a handful of random people could permeate your game, as to cut down on griefers. Maybe let you bring one co-op friend but introduce balanced limited consumables so you're always on edge wondering if your buddy is going to off you for the ration stash your hiding. Or how's bout a free-to-play zombie post-apocalyptic perma-death game with a business model similar to Diablo auction house whereby you buy goods, ammo, food etc. to survive using small real life money transactions (player to player) and the company skims the transactions to pay for dev costs.

@oatz I've consulted 6 different doctors and I think I'll be okay. Leave it to the Internet trolls to complain about a silly thread. @gringbot tai chi may be an option so far of all the procedures I've done a little old Chinese lady with her needles is the only thing that has worked to get me out of pain and able to exercise again. @Moncole that's awesome.

Currently using black iron armor +5's all around with grass crest shield on the back and two handing a lightning +3 axe. Works very well for my first playthough.
