dude, get a slim ps2, they're like 100 bucks new, and most of the greatest games of the last decade are on it, and they sell for like 19 bucks a pop. Get Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection, Okami, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy X, God of War, God of War 2,Gran Turismo 3, Katamari. I think that AFTER those, if you're still interested, then it might be worth the investment to go "next gen"/current gen.
If you have to narrow that down, then start with  MGS3:subsistence, and Shadow of the Colossus.

it NEEDS a 100$ price drop NOW, actually, no it needed it 4 months ago!!! ,but yeah, we'll probably get a crummy 50 dollar drop in a few of months, and it'll probably lose another usb or something.

I love the show, but this game looks very, meh.

I'm probably gonna get this game, not a resistance fan, but I really like the SF games. The PSP is a great platform, screw the nay-sayers. Nothing like some awesome REAL gaming on the beach, in bed, or on the bus/plane. none of that handicaped, retro, semi-game crap on the old gba and ds. Not a fanboy, I just like it as a piece of tech, as a product, it's probably the videogame purchase I have been most satisfied with. I never really got into any of my ds games, although I was ADICTED to some of the stuff on my gba, but I have a gba emulator on the psp, so that's covered. Anyway, this looks great, lets hope the crappy wifi signals I get on the road are enough for multiplayer...

I don't mean to discourage anyone over there, 'cuz I love this site, but honestly, my reaction to this redesign is, "meh."
The GiantBomb logo on the top left got kinda "shifted at the bottom", looks buggy, but easely fixable.
The "main image" on the homepage is too small. And the podcast page made my eyes bleed.
Sorry, but at least I'm honest.

psp is almost perfect as-is, add a second analog, vibration "on-off for battery life", and a higher res screen, "same size though", maybe make it LED for better battery life and a slimmer profile.

whoa, between this and rockband, psp is coming back hard this year, cool. now how 'bout putting some persona and Gran Turismo on there as well???
