Only game that I'd put in my top 5 so far is GTA IV. But to be fair, the only other 08 released game I've bought so far (that isn't xbla) is Ninja Gaiden II, and I don't really like that. As for the top 5 of games that I've played this year, but weren't necesarily released this year:

And there's one other anime which I really loved, but I keep forgetting the name of it T_T It's about the world being destroyed by some alien race that look like humans, but part of humanity lives on in computer servers, and some of them have the ability to use a special type of technique involving light-based robots so that they can fight the alien menace that is still attempting to destroy humanity by targeting the servers. It sounds lame perhaps, but it is a very awesome anime series.
