Ok this is probably going to be a tough one because I only remember vague bits of this game. Hell I'm not even sure if it was on the Commodore 64 or an Amiga computer :D

All I remember is that you played as a dude with a gun where you could run left and right and you had to shoot enemies you came across. I think you could also pick up weapons that enemies dropped. You were able to jump and duck and you had to use elevators to go up and down.

On that note, elevators didn't always go down and up. Some only went up or down and you'd have to run to another elevator to get to where you wanted to go. At least I think that's what it was like :D

I remember loving and hating that game at the same time. But now I can't remember it for the life of me :(

If anyone can remember the name of this game I'll be forever grateful!

Edit: I also played Another World and Lemmings on that computer lol.

I have always really like Keanu Reeves a lot. He has been in some pretty enjoyable films besides the matrix. He also seems a cool and down to earth guy.

Yup, same here. Of all the movies I have seen with Keanu Reeves in it, I don't think there's a single one I did not enjoy. Sometimes I think it's a shame that he's not seen in more blockbuster movies. But on the other hand the movies he has done are so enjoyable that I would rather see him in those than in a big budget film. And honestly, from what I have seen about him, he seems like the kind of guy who'd rather play in a movie he loves and not make any money off it than a big billion dollar blockbuster and not really enjoy doing it.

Haven't watched the Tarzan trailer yet, but the X-men trailer just isn't doing it for me. It's got all the big set pieces and a fantastic villain but I'm just not feeling any excitement watching the trailer. Perhaps that is because of the villain they're going with. I mean, Apocalypse is probably the biggest villain in the X-men universe and I really am skeptical on how they could possibly do that justice.

@teaoverlord: You're absolutely right. Guess I hadn't looked reseached this good enough after all.

But now I'm doubting between an 380 with 2GB or 4GB :D

Keep in mind, my tv's native resolution is 1360x768 so I wonder if I will really benefit from the 2 extra GB of VRAM. And as I said, I'm just looking for something that will hold me over for another year or so.

Right now I just want a sub 200 upgrade to hold me over for maybe a year. I do all my gaming on my TV which has a native resolution of 1360x780. On that resolution the 950 looks to be a good deal compared to the 960.

As for my overal specs, I don't remember the mb off hand but it's an i5 2300 with 16gb ddr3 and a radeon hd 6870.

But honestly, I already ordered the card just now. If it turns out to be a disappointment I'll send it back.

As for the amd vs nvidia debate, I didn't really find anything in the same price range with the same or better performance. The r9 380 is great but it's also more expensive, more power hungry and looks to be noisier in general (PC is in the living room so quiet is good).

But hey, if someone can convince me that there is really something better at the same price range as a gtx 950 then I might reconsider my choice.

I'm not really looking for a recoomendation on which card to buy, but rather if there are new cards likely to come out soon.

For further information, I'm looking to buy a MSI GTX 950 Gaming. I know it's not the best card out there, but for a card under $200 and the resolution I play on it seems to be more than enough. Especially when compared to my current 6870.

So does anyone know if it's worth getting it now or is it likely that we'll see some price drops in the near future, making, perhaps, a GTX 960 or R9 380 the choice to wait for?

It will probably be something like:

Final Fantasy VII: Remake: Original

Final Fantasy VII: Remake: Versus

Final Fantasy VII: Remake - II

Final Fantasy VII: Untold Stories: Tifa

Final Fantasy VII: Untold Stories: Barret

Final Fantasy VII: Milking This: Remake

And for the piece de la resistance:

Final Fantasy VII: Online

Followed a few years later by Final Fantasy VII: Online: Advent Children

Edit: I am excited for the remake though. But I am not in any way fooling myself that this will be anything like the original. A game which, in itself, I am sure doesn't hold up anywhere near as good as my rose colored memories believe.

One word: mainstream.

I agree with you on the count that it was BF2 that was first in this regard but CoD4 simply had more reach, was more popular, and thus ends up being heralded as the first of its kind by many. It's wrong, I agree, but that's what happens when something goes "mainstream"

Honestly, I think that if you were to dig even deeper you would probably find that BF2 wasn't even the first of its kind. But it's not about being the first, it's about being the first to reach critical mass.
