This is, largely, thanks to governments in the EU (and perhaps the US?) playing Ostrich and refusing to acknowledge that there is a real problem. A problem that will not go away by throwing some bombs on a foreign, far away, country. Governments believe that what they're doing is the right way to deal with these exteremists when in fact it's nothing more than water on a hot plate.

Exteremists have invaded our countries. The only way to arm ourselves against these kinds of people is by implementing stricter border controls and applying the rule of "when in doubt".

I am absolutely not saying that we should turn away all refugees but we should most definitely employ a more critical eye to who comes and goes. Freedom for all but always with vigilance.

Man I wish I had the money to buy this game right now. I'm afraid that when the end of the month rolls around there won't be much point in buying it anymore since everyone's level will be far higher and from what I've read the scaling in this game is terrible.

@thephantomnaut: I just did some more perusing on the Steam forums for this game and found the answer to my question in this topic. Looks like it's an issue with the R9 cards from AMD. No fix as of yet. Lucky me.

So as much as I'd love to play this game, maybe I'll just get a refund spend the money on something else. If the issue gets fixed I can always buy the game again at a later date. Provided I get the refund of course (I'm over the 2 hour limit).

Thanks for the help and sorry for clogging the forums!

Has anyone else experienced this? The game always crashes on me after fifteen to thirty minutes of play. And I mean that it just hard locks the computer. Even the screen goes completely black.

Edit: just found out on this Steam topic that it's an issue with R9 cards. No fix as of yet.

Generally yes. The only time I don't finish a book is if it doens't draw me in.

The last movie I (re-)watched completely was Inception. I'd still say that movie is a 5/5 despite some of the inconsistencies that I noticed on a second viewing. It just does such a great job in taking the every day concept of dreaming into crazy new directions while still, somehow, being believable on some level. Watching that movie, as crazy as it got sometimes, I actually believed that one day a technology like that might exist.

I just waited until all episodes were released before buying it so I could play the whole thing in one sitting. And yes, I absolutely loved the game. There are flaws, sure, but those were very minor to me. I mean, when you really think about it in the end your choices really don't matter but the illusion of real choice is pretty well done. The ending was a little disappointing but in all honesty I saw it coming from a mile away so I wasn't too let down by it. In fact, despite the slight disappointment I felt I also really liked the emotional impact of the final choice I made.

For me it's really a matter of having enough money but not enough time to play games. Pair that with the frequent sales and the amount of releases we have these days and my backlog is about 50% of all games I own on steam. That being said, though, there are quite a few games in my Steam list that I will never play or have only played once and will never play again.

Another factor with me is that I used to buy games as soon as they came out because I wanted to participate in the discussion. But when you buy several games in one month and only really have time to play one of them it quickly adds up. So now I try to pace myself a little and not buy a new game until I've finished one first. But that... hasn't been such a great success so far.
