I hadn't paid any attention to Titanfall news since it's announcement, since I'd pretty much been sold from the announcement trailer, since it was a new mech shooter on PC from a respected development team. It only dawned on me a few months ago that this was being published by EA.

EA's record has been pretty checkered over the last few years, and had gotten even worse in 2013 with the way they'd handled SimCity, Battlefield, Plants vs. Zombies, and Dungeon Keeper. I've managed to avoid buying from them for a few years now.

I'd love to support Respawn's debut title, since that team has done solid work and I'm excited to see them working on an IP other than COD. But that support will also be funding EA and their business strategy.

Are you guys going to make an exception for Titanfall and buy it, even though it's from EA?

I'm coming to you guys for some advice on how to start playing PC games on my TV. My mancave is a rectangular room, about 20 feet lengthwise. My PC desktop is on one end, and the TV/consoles/hometheater on the opposite end, with the couch stretching right across the middle.

1) Could I leave the desktop on the opposite end of the room, and run HDMI all the way across the room and back into the wall into the receiver? Looks like about 25ft of HDMI. I heard HDMI cables don't run that long due to attentuation issues or something? Is there any kind of wireless HDMI solution I could use?

2) What do you guys use to play keyboard/mouse games from the sofa? I've got a coffee table that lifts up and forward so that you can eat off it, but I'd have to sit on the edge of my sofa the whole time. I use controllers where it's comfortable, but some games just play better with a keyboard/mouse. (Maybe I just need to wait until Valve starts selling that new controller at retail before I make any move to play on my TV).

I'd appreciate hearing some suggestions, or just hearing how you guys have setup your media center for PC gaming.

The latest video that appears in the Suscriber video folder is Unprofessional Fridays: 8/23/13.

However, I know there's been more recent video content uploaded for suscribers, since my tablet can see September postings using Giant Bomb Video Buddy. It seems the desktop-version website isn't registering the September videos for some reason.

@cale: I'm a bit backlogged on my podcasts. Hearing this news yesterday, and then hearing Ryan joking around in E3 podcasts like nothing happened...it's surreal.

@bombedyermom: Me too man, nobody around me is going to understand how depressed this makes me. Can't even begin to explain it to them without looking like a weirdo. I don't even let most people know that I play video games.

NJ, Cablevision, This issue started for me about 2-3 days ago. Normally all videos start immediately and never buffer regardless of how high I set the quality.

Now videos play for about 2 seconds for every 2-3 minutes of buffering. Download speed monitor shows about 40kps download going.

Other videos elsewhere don't have any problems for me, streaming some HD Big Bang Theory episodes right now as I type this.
