I kinda would have liked to see more Twin Peaks episodes.... but then I remember the last 10 or so episodes from that series, and that makes me kinda thankful that there isn't any more Twin Peaks episodes.

I suppose I would have liked to see more Twin Peaks episodes, provided that they were like the First Season, and not the Second Season. And to be even more accurate, like the first HALF of the first season. Man.... that series went downhill pretty fast, huh?

It's because he's super smart and can get pretty much anything done. He shows himself to be more capable than the council, more informed, and more willing to take action. His goals are questionable, and his methods are downright evil, but at the end he might not be entirely a bad guy.

But mostly, it's because he's mysterious and with game characters, "Mysterious + Powerful + ROBOT EYES = interesting character".

In real life however, I'd stay 1,000,000 miles away from him at all times. He's a bad dude who'll mess you up.

EDIT: And every day he gets up and looks a star in its FACE before getting down to business.

All years seem to go by quickly for me these days. It comes with being older. A year "feels" like half a year to me, and I'm not too happy about it. I'm like that Character from Catch-22, what's his name.... Dunbar? Anyway, one of the characters contrived to put himself in the most boring situations possible because he wanted time to slow down. I'll pull up a quote:

"Do you know how long a year takes when it's going away?" Dunbar repeated to Clevinger. "This long." He snapped his fingers. "A second ago you were stepping into college with your lungs full of fresh air. Today you're an old man."

"Old?" asked Clevinger with surprise. "What are you talking about?"

"Old."

"I'm not old."

"You're inches away from death every time you go on a mission. How much older can you be at your age? A half minute before that you were stepping into high school, and an unhooked brassiere was as close as you ever hoped to get to Paradise. Only a fifth of a second before that you were a small kid with a ten-week summer vacation that lasted a hundred thousand years and still ended too soon. Zip! They go rocketing by so fast. How the hell else are you ever going to slow down?" Dunbar was almost angry when he finished.

"Well, maybe it is true," Clevinger conceded unwillingly in a subdued tone. "Maybe a long life does have to be filled with many unpleasant conditions if it's to seem long. But in that event, who wants one?"

"I do," Dunbar told him.

"Why?" Clevinger asked.

"What else is there?"

I don't really care, because Tali..... well, she was more fleshed out as a character in ME2, but in ME1, I got her and then NEVER used her or spoke to her... ever.

In regards to her appearance, I hope she doesn't look human. Look, I'm aware of the principle of convergent evolution, in which certain species will evolve in similar ways either due to a shared environmental pressure or due to the limitations of biology. But I really hope she doesn't look like a human with a funny forehead or different coloured skin.

As much as I like the Mass Effect Universe (and I like it a lot), I was really disappointed with the Asari - seriously, Blue Humans? Blue Female Humans? I know the fiction tries to explain it away, saying that every species thinks the Asari look like them, but come on, clearly they're just blue humans, and that was disappointing. I can handle the fact that most species are bipedal, or have only two eyes (except with the Batarians and Rachni), but I want my aliens to be more.... well... ALIEN!

The Quarians, despite being bipedal, are more "alien" than the Asari, and I hope they don't say "Hey, they look like humans with a different skin tone and, I dunno, weird eyes! Ain't that cool!?", because it wouldn't be. It would just be boring. The Asari are boring - not their fiction, but their appearance. Hell they even have lips. Their faces are EXACTLY like human faces, the only "strange" thing about them is their hair.

But in actual response to your question, I don't think they'll ever show Tali's face, although they'll probably show what Quarians look like eventually.

You risk missing out on a lot. As much as NV tells you that you are "free" to play the game as you wish, the game still assumes that you did things in a certain order. It doesn't mean that the way you play it is "wrong", as the game does allow you to go where you want to go - but it does mean that you could miss out on a lot of backstory and side quests.

I would do the quests that lead up to the Strip in the order that they are given, but after that, you should be free to run wild and do pretty much whatever you want to do. It would be nice if NV took the time to prevent the player from getting to the strip so quickly without doing the first few quests, but I guess no game's perfect.

It's not obligatory to play ME1, but it helps you get invested into the universe. Both play quite differently from each other though. ME1 is more user-unfriendly to get into (yet at the end game winds up being far easier). So you don't have to play ME1 to know how to play, or what the various "Biotics" (magic) does, because the game is very good at explaining all the backstory through Codex stuff.

So yeah, you don't have to play ME1. I would advise you to, since it's still a good game, even if the Mako sections were boring.

Oh and if you don't play ME1, or have some sort of hack, you can't set the story to how you like it - for example, starting a fresh new game from ME2, without importing a save, will mean that Wrex is always dead and the original Council is also always dead. It doesn't massively affect ME2, but might affect ME3.

Hm. Depends - in singleplayer, probably Mario Galaxy 2. Black Ops Singleplayer (on normal and hardened) was pretty easy and forgiving, but on Veteran it was very difficult. I don't think Mario Galaxy 2 comes close to Black Ops when it's on Veteran. However, Black Ops also has a multiplayer component, and if you're up against really good players, it's brutal.

So yeah - SMG2 is harder than Black Ops singleplayer (Normal and Hardened) but probably not as difficult as Blops when it's on Veteran difficulty. Both are pretty awesome games though.

Vanille wins worst voice, (and I too am an Australian), but not worst ACCENT, since the Voice Actress for Vanille was Australian. Worst accent means the worst attempt at doing an accent, and for that, the Heavy Rain kids win hands down, with their horrendously bad, borderline "robot-speak" American accents. Again, it's not the kid's fault, they're kids, what do you expect, but it's the fault of the director for hiring said kids to play American roles.

Sam Worthington is the deserved runner up for his atrocious Alex Mason voice. "Todahy's the dahy we succeehed"..... urgh.

Well, the psychological factors are probably:

1) Self-justification: "I got Console X and I couldn't get Console Y or Z. In order to justify my decision of getting Console X, I must say that Console Y and Z are bad. Because that makes me feel smart since I made the "right" choice!"
2) Identification: Some people feel the need to define themselves, to develop a personality and a fully realized persona. While others might place their political philosophy, their experiences, their religion or their culture or their moral ideals at the centre of that persona, some put their fun-fun electronic box of fun at the centre. Those people are idiots. There is really no other word to describe someone who holds a PIECE OF HARDWARE as a key part of their identity. Well, another word for anyone who does that might be "CHILD".

And as you can tell, most trolls and fanboys (also, fangirls!) tend to be either very young or very stupid, or both, and are usually too poor to afford more than one type of console. I too was a console fanboy once - when I was SIX YEARS OLD. I grew out of it by the time I was ten. As Yahtzee once said, it's usually down to their mum not willing to buy them more than one console or game.
