Games Wot I'd Recommend

The games that I love, and that everyone else should.

List items

  • This is the only game for which I'd be confident enetering the pro scene. If there is one.

Spade - Club - Heart - Diamond, motherfuckers.

  • I don't even want to count how many high school nights I went without sleep due to this game.

  • It's kinda like Civ IV...... In spaaaaace.

  • It's kinda like Civ IV... In the crusaaaaaades.

  • Gotta love crazed mathematicians working on 3D fractal generators.

  • Gotta love crazed mathematicians working on 2D everything simulators.

  • I only ever play this drunk, and as such I'm always looking forward to getting drunk because it means TF2 time baby.

  • The FPS I've sunk the most time into. Around 100 hours since 2006. That may not seem like much to some, but it's fucking insane for me.

Can't wait for Battlefield 3, that shit will rock the world.

  • See below.

  • These two games mean a lot to me. I was too young to really play them when they were released (8 for the former, 9 for the latter), but me and my sister would spend entire afternoons watching my father play through them.

For my money, they still have the best art direction to ever grace the game industry, and were unprecendented in their ability to bring that design to life. I never played the later games, but I doubt that the transition to X-Box era 3D did justice to their incredible designs.

I have the A4 hardcover art book kicking around here somewhere.

  • I'm not sure how well the gameplay has held up, but I seem to remember this being awesome.

  • Fuck yeah! Tomba!

  • Duh.

  • Double fucking duh. Shit owns.

  • Finally I can play my monstrous library of Frank Zappa recordings in a rhythm game. Until Rock Band releases Nig Biz in one of their games I'm sticking with Audiosurf.

  • You really should just go and play this.

  • You are my love forever, sweet Peggle. Once all the other games are dead and gone, you will be standing there, Peggle, like a wife waiting for her husband to return from a war. Or like a cockroach under the rubble from a nuclear bomb.

  • As above.

Though maybe less like a wife. More of a mistress.

Shhhh, baby. Peggle can't know. Our block-swapping schenanigans are between us. Only we can ever know. Promise me baby. Promise me you'll never tell.
