My Top 25 (+35) Games of the 4th Generation
Now we're cookin'! Here are my favorite games from arguably the best era of gaming. The first 25 are ranked, the rest are alphabetical.
Eligibility: Released on Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis or original Game Boy (or other competitors). Released on PC/Arcade during 1990-1995 in the US.
Noticeably missing because I haven't played them: Not much... I've played most of the supposed classics. There are a lot of cool-looking B-grade games I want to try out. I'd still like to play "Rondo of Blood", Mega Man X2 and Metal Gear 2 which should probably slot in this list somewhere. There's a lot of JRPGs that still look kind of interesting, especially on Genesis. I'll probably never be entirely finished with the 16-bit systems, but that's OK!
