@ZodiacVII: Oh I am aware of that; Sorry I didn't mean to imply that I thought they were coming from the same source.

I merely meant that I would personally play DLC for Skyrim over a TES MMO. But thanks for the clarification :).

My feelings remain the same however; just no interest in the mmo version of TES at all.

A large sigh and a meh...

I just don't see it working that well. It feels like MMO's are on the decline; just seems like the wrong time to release yet another into the market...

Whatever... I would just prefer so proper, well thought-out dlc for Skyrim over this. Just my opinion of course.

That's what I told myself at christmas; that was the aim... I now have 27 unique Skylanders (29 overall) with the last 5 I need on order...

Damn my obsessive behaviour :-(...

Though I do feel pretty happy looking at them all lol...

I only just got into Dark Souls. I have had it since xmas but couldn't really enjoy it.

I straight up prefer Demon's Souls; I prefer the levelled nature and Nexus set up. I find the Dark Souls world gets extremely frustrating really quickly when you want to move from one area to another. I am now in the later part of the game (4 kings fight) but if I want to go to the forest or to the swamps below blight town, I have to spend an age travelling where as in Demon Souls you can just teleport anywhere.

It's the fact that despite being an open-world, it is actually more limiting to move around compared with just having levels. Now I do prefer the flask system over grass farming however. I also think magic got a vast upgrade in Dark Souls with how it works.

Overall I think Dark Souls does a lot of things better, but losing the level structure and offering a very limited warp system (so far limited anyway; just 3 locations) makes getting to certain blacksmiths etc just a huge pain in the ass.

I love this game but like others, am only a few hours in. It's a really kool story and the time-lines fit fairly seamlessly together. I'm about 3-4 hours through currently. It had me charmed for a while and then I kind of shamelessly forgot about it. I need to finish it >.>...

Hey all; anyone know if there are any plans to QL the new tables? I know with all the merger craziness going on QL's have slowed down atm but I was looking forward to another PBFX2 QL. Especially since there have been 4-5 tables released between the last video and now?

Thanks either way.

My main concern is their co-location with Gamespot. I liked GB best when they were in the original basement, ginning stuff up, cobbling stuff together. Smooshing all the Whiskey people together in the SF office wasn't a net positive, and I have a bad feeling -- despite all the homecoming feelings that the guys have -- that living and eating with Gamespot will just be a distraction and generate less GB content and more hybrid content, or something.

But I'll give the guys a chance.

This echoes my feelings too...

But I will stick around for a little while to see how all this plays out. Since GB started I haven't touched GS aside from reading Gfaqs occasionally and no matter how hard they try, they will lose the *inde/underground* feel because of the very nature of joining together with a bigger brand. Also, losing a bunch of the sites currently grouped together is really sad...

I'm struggling to find a game to play to podcasts atm.

It used to be WoW, Minecraft and recently Terraria - but they are all done with atm. I get too into story of any game with dialogue so I struggle with games like that aka Witcher etc...

Pinball fx2 is amazing but 360 is in bedroom with fiancée and other pc. So late at night I don't have access to it atm. Worst part is I have like; 120 or so games on steam >.<

@phrosnite:  Did you read my second post? This was a semi-joke (as in I am not losing sleep over it and yes my life/career etc is all progressing normally)... but this is indeed at the same time my most anticipated game of 2011/2012/2013 (whenever they decide to release it)...

@JJWeatherman: Yeah I am content in waiting; as you said it has been a very long trip to release already and there are tonnes of other games out there to keep us entertained - In all fairness Torchlight 2 looks really good as a dungeon crawler.

I don't know really - I just really like Dungeon crawlers still; i mean before visuals were even a real thing I used to play a bunch of old text based MuD's (stuff like Avalon for example). WoW kept me amused for about three years but I prefer the sense of isolation and story progression you tend  to get in a single-player game. I mean one of my favourite games recently was Batman: AA (I have yet to play Deadspace or Deadspace 2 but they seem like my kind of games - just haven't got round to that series yet)

And yes I know D2 and D3 are a bit more MP focused but I usually play through them a lone as I enjoy exploring and probably frustrate a lot of people with my needlessly checking every bit of loot mentality.

@DrPockets000:  I really want someone to invent it now!

I imagine it to taste like tomato juice, lime and cola with red food colouring tn ensure it remains a nice blood red colour...

*goes to mix it up*... >.<
