Feels crazy to say it, but that concludes the Giant Bomb interview series that I started about 2 years ago. I can't explain just how supportive you've all been. No community has been nicer to me than the GB community. Even those who reached out to me personally with suggestions (or even criticism) did so respectfully, and I can't thank you all enough. ICYMI, here's the full suite of Giant Bomb staff shows:
There will still be Friends of Giant Bomb on in the future, but this covers all the current staff. Again, thanks for sticking with me. See you in the forums!
@moderp: Wow, I never said that. I made a poorly timed, unnecessary joke saying Abby was the winner of the Millennial hires and apologized over Twitter and directly to Ben once I realized how it came off (my sarcasm missed, which is my fault.) I love what Ben does and never said I didn't like him--It was a dumb joke that didn't hit, which is absolutely on me. But to turn it into me saying, "I don't like Ben" is untrue. Ben and I discussed it directly, he knew it was a joke, I apologized, and all is well.
Been meaning to talk to Ben Pack for a long time now, and we finally found time! We discussed everything from his first year at Giant Bomb to how to deal with criticism after becoming a "public figure."
Ben is great, and I had a blast recording this. Thanks for all the support!
Hey, duders! Have any of you sat around and wondered, "What could Giant Bomb legend John Vignocchi be up to?"
I invited him on my podcast, The 1099, and we talked about his life after Disney Infinity ended, his wedding, what he's doing now, and the GB community! As always, appreciate the support!
My interview series with the Giant Bomb staff continues. This week, I talked to Jan all about how he got to Giant Bomb, his fandom, working for MythBusters, his theatre background, and a bunch more.
