I hear that if you play New Super Mario Bros. Wii backwards, Luigi says "Give your soul to Satan" once every 2 minutes. 
 
Also, if you wait till the full moon and bathe the nunchuk in lamb's blood, carve the Hail Mary in Portuguese into the Wii casing, and then play Wii Sports Resort, you can see your future.

Oh damn it. I've been on the fence about getting a Wii and forgot all about Muramasa. Now I may have to get one! And I blame YOU!

May is a good month to pick up a Wii. There's SMG2, Trauma Team, Sin and Punishment 2, Trackmania and Prince of Persia coming up.
 
Arc Rise Fantasia and Xenoblade next month.  :D

Would've sold you mine for $80, is just sitting around collecting dust.  Although I must say that Okami was a pretty great game.  Also New Super Mario Bro. Wii, if you have 2-3 friends/kids to play it with, at least.

I have the black one too and it was my excuse to buy all new remotes and classic remote too.  My wifey hated that!

i never spent as much time on a wii game as i did with mario kart wii. i think it's a good game to play online

$150 for a wii is pretty good, there aren't a lot of great games for it, so it works well as a secondary console. 
 
I would go back and play all those flagship titles, even if you don't care for mario you should give Galaxy a try, its pretty different and awesome.

Unlike others, LQ, I won't try to convince you to buy a Mario game as I pay attention - you don't really dig Mario.  I mentioned it before, I am not a big fan of Mario platformers either.  You really should consider House of Dead: Overkill for some of the greatest on-rails shooting ever.  The story has to be played to be believed and it is just a blast of fun.  Plus, I am sure it is really cheap.  If you enjoy that, then also consider Dead Space:Extraction and either of the Resident Evil Chronicle games.  Plus, if you enjoy a bit of JRPG, consider Phantom Brave: We Meet Again and Shiren The Wanderer. 
 
I am completely confident you will get you $150 of fun out of it and it just gives you more variety of choice when you go to the games store - after all. I have one 360 game for every two Wii, so I am still supporting multiple platforms.  Who knows, maybe when the PS3 takes its next price cut, I will get one to play that Disgaea 3 game I bought with no console to play it on  :/

Mine is covered in dust but despite that, I don't regret buying it because of games like HoTD Overkill and Mario Galaxy. And when I get time to play it, Silent Hill Shattered Memories.

Have fun with Wii. Occasionally it catches dust, but it picks back up. In other words, it has it's ups and downs.
 
And be sure to connect your Wii to the internet. You can get older games from past Nintendo systems, along with Neo Geo, Sega Genesis, Master System, and Commodore 64. Can't forget that there are good games on WiiWare too.

I'm looking to get one too.  Waiting for the black ones to come out so I can get a white one for less.  I don't really care about Wii motion+, and I'd rather save the money.
 
A lot of cool games have come out since I last had one, and the future line-up looks really good.

Yeah I recommend No more Heroes the first one is really cheap now 
and also Metroid Prime Trilogy since it is now out of print so even if you don't play it you can sell it for big $$

There is soooo many games on Wii that I want to play. That underpowered system is the holy-grail of great games, plus I also want to buy Majora's Mask on the Virtual Console (I want to play on the TV, not Project64). But the console is more expensive than the 360, which is understandable, most Wii-buyers are girls who like the wii-sports or whatever that comes with the console and don't buy any games, so Nintendo has to charge high for it in-order to profit.

Hey Liquid, could we get an update on your Muramasa progress? I want to hear how well you are enjoying it.  
Also, I really think you'd enjoy Twilight Princess and Prime 3 (Or collection, if you can find it). I hope to sink my teeth into Trauma Team soon, so if you'd like an update on that when i've had a taste I can give you one. 
If you are looking for a Professor Layton like game, the best thing I can think of is Zack and Wiki. Puzzles galore.  
 
Hrm, now that Liquid has had some of the dark chocolate and bought a Wii, maybe its time for me to look into getting a PS3. I'm still dead set on getting a backwards compatible one though...
