To keep it short Halo 1 more than deserved all of the acclaim it received from critics. Halo 2 and 3 did not as they extended the successes of the first Halo rather than re-invent the first person genre like Bungie did back in 2001. Halo ODST and Halo Wars, while arguably games of distinction on Xbox 360, do not even compare to the original three games developed. Halo Reach finally I speculate will do much the same.
Halo is a great series, don't get me wrong on that one, but only the original game surpasses a 9/10 in my mind.
G Spot lol. Gamespot has definitely lost the warmth it had. The site has slowly died without Getsmann and co. It has been one hell of a downward spiral and I don't think it is going to stop anytime soon, not unless Gamespot do some major tweeking to the forums anyway and the site layout. I still prefer the old Gamespot layout to the new one.
Given people have their mobile devices and such stolen often, would you rather have someone lose all of their games if they were robbed or have only the cartridge with their backed up games stolen? Its a case of losing over £100's worth of software or £30 on a 4GB Micro SD based flashcard.
