@Hashbrowns:
Most of the articles I saw were from sites like the New York Times or other standard sites that had picked up on it from somewhere else, it was also interesting once I found the actual sources to see how many of them had been twisted and didnt say anything close to what the news had reported.

So I have been writing a paper for my english class and I chose to go with the effects of violent video games since I figured it would be easier to write about a topic  I am passionate about. I personally came into it with the obvious bias against the effect, I believe that violent games not only do not cause an increase in violent behavior but are actually a useful way for me to vent my aggressive feelings without the need to go bare knuckle box another person.
As I began to write the paper I needed to find studies that I could gather data from so I started using my schools database utilities (I go to the University of Idaho). I was searching for violent games in the news and found a trend, although there were plenty of articles that talked about studies very few of them actually cited the source. This was made more infurating since I really just wanted the source but it made me start to think about just what these journalists had been taught.
 Now im a science major and so for the past several weeks I have been having the idea that you always cite drivin into my head, it just made me sad to see all of these articles that failed the most basic steps, showing me where they had obtained this data so I could verify it myself.
Anyway I just felt the need to rant about that for a minute, so now that im a bit calmer back to work.

Well assuming that the system stays the way it did for ME2 then the game will keep track of every time you beat it and you can select which time you finished that you want to import.
So short answer is no, it wont overwrite youre first ending

This is exactly what I feel. The $10 itself isnt that bad but I feel like they are not giving us anything new. The dashboard is also littered with adds. I might feel better if they were to add some cool new features and then say they were upping the price. Also dont give me that bullshit about ESPN and whatnot, its not a service worth  a price hike if I have to buy another service just to use the one one on xbl.

The problem is that while it stops minors from buying the games it also establishes that games are different from other mediums protected under freedom of speech. This can create a possibility of harsher laws against games, its a slippery slope once they deem that they are not proteced under freedom of speech.
so anyway you should all sign the ECA's petition that will be used in the case.

Not sure I like the look of the deal 10000 damage with various weapon types. Kinda forces me to play the game a way I did not want to.  never use explosives and that could be a bitch to grind out. Maybe not though, depends how much an average attack is doing. Also there is an achievement for beating it on hardcore and that could be hard. Good thing I was already planning a hardcore playthrough. Also the points are really spread out. You dont see many games that do that, usually there is at least 3 achievements worth like 50-100 points. overall it looks pretty good, I cannot wait to play this game.
