People's fascination with steam is crazy. If you shop around you can usually find cheaper prices. And then there are the people who will literally only buy games from steam. Yes I do buy boxed games if they're the cheapest option. I've recently bought the boxed version of Portal 2 , and another copy of Starcraft II. Amazon tends to have great deals on boxed PC games.

My parents gave me free reign over everything. I don't know if that was the best policy, but I didn't really understand any of the adult content I saw, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

"Unfortunately, Brink is not the kind of game where banging your head against the wall will eventually lead to a euphoric occasion of Halo-grunt-headshot-leads-to-confetti-and-children-cheer-as-candy-pours-out-yo-head smiley time.  It's a game that demands you to check out the maps, learn the different routes and areas to attack an objective from, and work AS A FUCKING TEAM!  Essentially, it's like Left 4 Dead in a lot of ways:  people on PC are the ones you'll want to play with if you actually want to get anything done without having to half-heartedly rely on bots to help your ass. "

This really sums up the game in a nutshell. Hope it doesn't make you feel worse, but I've had great luck with the PC Master Racists that I've had the chance of playing with, no problems with teamwork whatsoever.

@ZombiePie: I'm on to you.
Edit: Just saw your Twitter post. Guess I'm not really the Sherlock Holmes I thought I was. I should take off my monocle.

I'd much rather my team go down fighting in a game 7 then get swept out of a series. Especially coming back from down 3 to almost pulling it off.

I have to agree with you here.

I'm really liking Brink, the multiplayer aspect at least, but dude the AI is fucking terrible. It is no fun trying to complete objectives while getting shot by 8 guys, while your teammates sit there and pick their dingle berries. If the bots turned out how they wanted as part of their design philosophy, well then they goofed on that part of the game. It just makes matches long, tedious and rage inducing for no reason.

Like I said though, I'm enjoying the game, the multiplayer side of it is really fun. Especially once you start getting more and more into doing some of the parkour moves.

Really? I think his review style is terrible. He usually just lays out the entire plot of a movie, or at the very least gives you the entire set up for a film, leaving nothing to surprise.

A place for people to go and hangout based around their pastime is always a good thing. I won't be going, but  if it does happen I'm sure it would be fun for those who are really into Minecraft. I'll be marathoning through Skyrim instead.
