I think there's a big difference between "maturing toward adulthood" and "maturing with regards to how one should pursue sex," but maybe that's just me.
Tetra master is bad and so is the trance system, that's all I'll agree with you about.
Ditto. Steiner is probably my all-time favorite Final Fantasy character, certainly in the main series. The only one who MIGHT be better is Dycedarg Beoulve from Tactics, but meh. Different strokes, I guess.
Is Lost Odyssey actually well-revered? I remember being intrigued by it back when it came out, but I was turned off by some less than stellar reviews. Is it worth picking up?
You have to understand that reviews for JRPGs tend to skew a little lower than most other games for whatever reason. I always feel like they're graded on their own scale. The reality is, as story and character make up such a large portion of a person's enjoyment of the genre, review scores are all over the place for these games. There isn't anything more subjective in fiction.
That said - it had some weird technical aspects, especially at launch, which were eventually patched out. The game mechanics are pretty traditional - which for some reviewers is a negative - but it has its own twist on things. It's considered one of the best RPGs of the last generation for a reason, though.
Something like 800, haven't bothered to count in awhile. My purchasing has slowed considerably since I never buy new games and don't have any of the new consoles.
@darkeyehails: Ya I think most of us were just having a bit of fantasy booking fun but the mainstream coverage of wrestling the last month or so has been laughable, between the thing about bayley and that 101 greatest wrestlers of all time thing (I just threw up a little thinking about it), its been a pretty shit month.
@mamba219: How was Cien I keep hearing that hes super underwhelming live.
Wasn't that great. His finisher looks even dumber live than on TV, especially since a few matches later during the (excellent) Revival match they did a very similar move which had the victim simply...move out of the way. Dash Wilder sold the hell out of ramming his knees into the turnbuckle, too. Don't know if it was an intentional lampoon or not, but yeah. I did get a kick out of that weird thing Cien does where he leaps at and lies on the ropes though. Super hammy, but in a good way.
