I don't mind it. When it's done well I love it, but like anything else that gets overused it gets boring over time.

A Playstation 2 with Grand Theft Auto 3 would be cool- GTA3 heralded the growth and popularity of the 3d open world genre. GTA is quick to pick up and play and students can just run around causing mayhem.

I've just skipped through the 50min video on Silent Hill HD and wow, even with the little I saw Konami really did a really bad job with the port.

Good thing I didn't buy it.

It's free for PS+ members so I'll get it from there.

Otherwise I had no plans of buying it.

It's super polished, the game looks beautiful and fun.

@ArbitraryWater: XCOM will have more replay value and you can get in on the multiplayer matches early, so maybe buy that first.

Dishonored is a single player only game so you can still enjoy it a few weeks after release. Also it's a new IP and it's not a game with a lot of marketing outside gaming sites, so I expect the price to drop significantly in the weeks after release.
