Hey GBers,

Just wanted to announce that there is a new gamer in town.  My son, Carter, was born 9/12/2010 @ 10:48.  Him and mom are doing good. He might temperarily cut into my gaming, but hell someday I'll have a build in co-op buddy.  This is my second kid.  My first was a boy born May of 08.  I've already started to get him into gaming by playing a little Wii Cow racing along with some Wii fishing.  He loves it.

Well that's all.  Just wanted to let the world know that there is one more gamer among us.

MD.

Hey guys...just wondering who you video game drug dealer is?  Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, Steam, ...?

I my self prefer Steam over all.  I'm a PC/Console game and I really enjoy Steam with all it's awesome sale and it's auto patching and what not.   For my console games, I guess I would say Gamestop or Best Buy.  Sometimes if I can find a sweet deal online I'll get it where ever.  I'm not loyal to either store...just seems like that's where i go.

How about?

Ok GB community, help me out on this one.  I have been playing SC II since it came out.  I love it.  I've been playing with buddies since I got it.  We did the whole 2 or 3 vs AI on Medium...then moved to Hard.  Hell, I've even done it on very hard with buddies and we squeak by with a win.  So now comes the part where I tell how bad I get worked online against other people.

I either play as the Terran or the Protoss.  I can defend against rushes, but man everything else I do ends in me getting slaughtered about 15 min into the game.  Do you guys have any advice on how I can improve.  I definitely know I need to work on my hot keys because right now I'm a point and click kind of guy and that really inefficient.  I still find it hard to believe that I'm so bad that I can't beat anyone.  What advice do you guys have for a man who love SC II, but is sucking at it.  Any advice for build or anything is greatly appreciated.  I play roughly 10 - 15 hours a week. (which is about to come to a crashing halt with a new baby here any day!!!!)

Thanks,

MD.

Hey guys.  Ok I used to be a gym junkie.  Basically I would work till 4:30 and be at the gym by 4:45 and workout (run and lift like crazy) until about 7.  Go home eat...play games...sleep...repeat.  Since having a kid (2 1/2 years ago), I haven't done dick when it comes to the gym.  I definitely put on weight, but I'm not to huge.  Since having a kid, time is my enemy.  If I do the gym, I need to sacrifice gaming and family time.  If I skip the gym like I'm doing, things only go downhill.  I have a treadmill @ home so maybe I just need some motivation.  I tried the working out over my lunch hour, but that killed my afternoon.   What do you guys do?   Let me know what types of routine's you guys have and how you maintain them.

Peace out,

MD.
