I wondered what you fellow bombers thing about the whole relationship thing?
It's probably not for everyone, but I prefer being in one.
How did you meet your partner?
He was a security officer and I was a dispatcher. We were both seeing other people when we met. He used to give me backrubs in the office during the graveyard shift.
Wondering if I should just wait for the "one" or if I should try throw myself out there a bit more (god knows where though!)
You don't necesarily know if someone is the one unless you're with them, and you can't be with them unless you try.... I dunno, we were pretty sure what we had was serious, but it wasn't until a good 4 or 5 years into it that I realized this was the person I was going to grow old and crotchety with.
Discuss! :D
The only other thing I want to point out is that being in a relationship isn't going to always be happy times. That's how life is. We have to work for the things we value. That's also why wedding vows include "for better or worse."
I lost my Happy Hour cherry today, and I feel dirty and awful.
Ok seriously... I've never watched a Happy Hour before... but if they have a female, is the chat always that bad?? I mean, I get that Sara Lima is attractive. But jeezus. No wonder there are stereotypes about gamers and nerds, people. The previous segment with the Asian chick wasn't a whole lot better. (Of course Sara's tube top helped really derail that chat.)
But besides that... holy crap the chat is tough to keep up with sometimes. I think maybe I'm glad of it though, because if it were easier to keep track of, I might be there too often. And I already spend far more time than I should messing around on GiantBomb/Screened and not doing work.
Also: What are the odds that the IT department at work would be able to track the streaming activity to my computer? That's why I don't really ever stream videos. Concerned about getting in trouble.
I just saw someone link this on Facebook and thought it was pretty badass. Apparently someone created a replica Pip Boy 3000 iPhone dock.
Increase your odds of surviving the wastes with your very own Pip-Boy 3000.
This is a Prop Replica Pip-Boy 3000 as worn in Fallout 3, it is made almost entirely out of card and has been designed to fit a iPhone 4.
Photo's show it playing a stats loop, easy to find and easy to use, just open the flap inside, slide in the phone with the lock button on the left, and close the secure housing behind and you're ready to go.
Light weight with a secure hinge and velcro close, it's good for wearing for long periods of time. The left hand dial moves too, and there is an iphone app for the geiger counter clicks, along with a localised real time apocalypse map.
This is sure to make your time in the wastelands that much easier, and face it, no one else will look quite as suave as you would, with this on your arm.
iPhone not included
Unfortunately only one was created, and the item was already sold (on May 17th apparently), but I thought it was still cool enough to share.
Pictures!
Ok, so it's unlikely someone would going around wearing one of these, but would you still buy one of these if the price was right? (Unfortunately I have no idea what the original price was)
Re: the suits and hats. SERIOUSLY! Ok so I don't have LA Noire yet, I know shame on me. But my husband and I have long agreed we need to get him a suit and hat like that. They are PIMPIN. But really! Take any average-looking guy and put him in a suit and hat like that and most likely he's suddenly hawt.
Household of 3 adults and 1 child... let's see... there's groceries, eating out, kid's school lunches, my coffees and husband's coffees... actually the total monthly number looks pretty bad, but divide it by weeks and number of people in the house...
