N64, GBA, SNES (via emulation)
Lots of classics that I never played but I kind of don't want to go back and play them because I feel like you had to be there, you know? I don't want to be disappointed that they don't hold up. This is basically a nostalgia list.
also played snes version but played more of the gba version

played it more on gba than i did on mario all-stars (snes)
found II to be impenetrable but i loved making my own party and dungeon crawling in the first
early memories of watching someone play this when i was little, then finished on zsnes emulator years later. so good.
started when i was a kid, finished it years later on emulation.
being able to have all 3 starters
nostalgia overload. it's amazing how magical this felt despite being an original gameboy with those technical limitations.
it's where i fell off with pokemon because i put the 1st gen on such high of a pedestal, but i still enjoyed it a lot. unlocking kanto was a revelation.
remake of the originals of course. but doesn't replace them for me.
so much fun. favorite set of mini-games was 9-volt.
loved playing my friends in this. such a fun concept. this and mario party made those sleep overs that much more special.
still the best wrestling game. it was also when wrestling was at its best.
so much fun, multiplayer or solo.
still never beat it but played it across 3 platforms (n64, emulation, xbox 360) because i love it
only saw it at a friends house but then played it on emulator years later.

what a package
mortal kombat was just so cool to me as a youngster but i never got good at all at these games. started a lifelong love of mk.
never been a comic book person and most of these characters were new to me at the time, but i loved their designs. tough as nails game, only got far in it later on due to emulator cheats. venom and carnage are cool. theme song is cool.
probably wasn't a good game in hindsight but i was 8 and loved making my own cars.
rented it on a weekend and found the size of the world to be overwhelming. didn't get far.
really cool. didn't play it much.
only tennis game i liked, though it's also the only tennis game i ever played. multiplayer was fun.
i just loved seeing the pokemons in full 3d
first hockey game.
one of the few n64 games i actually owned. it was ok.
ground, to air, to water was a neat concept. and boss fights. they really tried something here.
