I may have skipped a year, but I am back with a list of games that nearly made me go homeless since they demanded all my time. It was tough to decide the best of the best, but as usual I compiled this list based on how long I was lured into playing and completing these titles. The best games aren't necessarily the "best", they are just the most "fun". Party down and get funky.
Oh dear god, this game. 120 hours later I beat it. It is responsible for a relationship breakup, and lost hours of work. But damn it was good!!
I own a personal pinball arcade at my house thanks to this f'ing game. 5 actual machines now!! All featured in this game. It may not be a true "2014 release", but the Xbox One version is, and that's why it's on this list. I play it alllllllll the time!! Please help me.

Open world games based on reality are boring, but games set in a fantasy land are brilliant. This is the best Dragon Age thus far, and I am hooked.
I can't remember the last time I beat a game this fast. I was hooked and couldn't put the controller down. I already traded it back in, but damn it's time in my library was greatly appreciated. Fun, fast and over-the-top, Sunset Overdrive is the best exclusive this generation so far.
Stupid. Awesome. Crap. Amazing. It's like being in the show and taking control of biznass. I love laughing and this game makes me do just that.
After Dark Souls 2 I found this to help me feel like I was actually playing a next generation version of the same game. Total ripoff, but awesome too.
I love breaking shit on the side of the road finally! And driving through the countryside. Totally hilarious and gorgeous at the same time. The best racer made thus far!
Slashing hordes of stupid AI is the worst thing ever, and the best thing all at the same time. It's like some weird game of chess, and it's finally not a bunch of Dynasty Warriors!! I love this game.
How could you not include this whacky idiot button smasher of a fighting/platforming game. It's weird. I don't know how this became so popular, but I guess it needed to become that way as I am addicted. I even bought an f'ing Amiibo! What the hell is wrong with me!!!
