All these guys are in stuff now but at the time I think they were all unknown (except Liv "Daughter of Mr Big Lips From Aerosmith" Tyler). It's very funny and cool but at times very cheesy. For some reason, without planning, it always works out that I watch this on Christmas Eve while wrapping presents even though it has NOTHING to do with Christmas or the season. Just a day in the life of a independent record store and it's staff.

Battlestar Galactica was good but it got a bit up it's own ass with the Final Five and some of the weird side stories it took, it's already fading from my Sci-Fi memory. Star Trek hasn't aged well on recent viewings so as much as I love the characters from Next Generation I can't pick it. I have fond memories of M.A.N.T.I.S. and Viper from the early 90s Fox Friday but really they probably suck watching them now. If Buffy doesn't count then I am guessing Alias doesn't count either (Rambaldi stuff could go sci-fi or fantasy).

Gotta go with X-Files because the acting and balance (earlier on anyway) between mythos and creature of the week was pretty good. The ideas for some of those monsters are still good enough they could have been written as movie villains on their own (I'm looking at your Tooms with your stretching powers that make Freddy leave his nightlite on). Show was great, movies were not bad either and they still creep me out watching them now so I can't think of a better sci-fi show.

@KaosAngel said:
"Barak Obama, hasn't done shit for this country and hasn't done a single one of his promises.  I voted for that guy too.  :( "

Not to mention media treats him like the movie and pop culture stars, asking who he is rooting for in  "the big game" or "what do you think about Kanye" when he is the leader of our country. That alone pisses me off. Treat him seriously, save the weak sauce questions for post presidential term years.

Oh, also Diablo Cody....your dialogue sucks lady, come up with a story but let someone else write the script. Also, stop showing up in my Entertainment Weekly, I hate your columns.

I always see it while browsing the indie stuff but something always stops me from getting it. I admit though for 80 MS SpaceBucks I guess I don't have a reason not to buy it

This was had me worried too as I want a new PS3 hard drive but Sony is very vague on what you should look for in a hard drive without risking ruining the system. I thought I had read somewhere that 7200 runs hotter and wasn't a good choice in case you overheat your system so maybe that's more reason to get the 5400 but then I always see folks saying they had a 7200 and it was fine.

Whatever...cheaper works for me, I just hope 500gigs is big enough to last until the next system or whatever comes next.

Why I don't like the Wii is two reasons:
1-I worry that "non-hardcore" games doing so well is going to confuse game companies from making games I like. Just because Alpha-Moms buy Wii Fit or Cooking Mama by the bucket load doesn't mean the gaming community as a whole wants those kind of games. We will always have "Our" games that will sell (Call of Duty whatever, Left 4 Dead, Bioware and Bethesda games,ect) which will sell well but the mediocre or less widely purchased middle ground is where you will see games hurt needlessly.

2-Playing the Wii makes me feel retarded. I have played games for over 20 years and I don't need to read instructions or do tutorials for most games, I just know how stuff works and if it's a bit different then I learn and adapt. However, the times I have played Wii have been so radically different I just feel stupid. It's how my dad must have felt when he tried my Playstation 1 back in the day....just confused and terrible and not enjoying myself because of how confused and terrible I am.

Not really hate for Nintendo, just paranoid concern I guess.

Haven't opened AC2 yet, Haven't beat Uncharted 2 yet so....I guess I have to go with Dragon Age but I could see giving it to Uncharted based on what I have played or Batman cause it's gorgeous
