It's already covered in the Whiskey Media Radio Show.

I've had no problems with the sword controls so far. I have however, had problems with general movement. The lack of direct camera controls combined with the jerky movement makes platforming a little harder than it should be. The swimming controls are also awkward; I wish you could turn on a dime underwater.

Also, the camera really fucked me over on a certain boss. I wish there was a way to lock-on while running.

I can't get it to run good with the Direct3D11 plugin and I get visual glitches with the other plugins. However, I have one 460. Time to get a SLI motherboard (or wait for more Dolphin updates).

Edit: Nevermind, I something enabled that totally shouldn't have been enabled and now it runs fantastically.

@NekuSakuraba:
  • AMD Phenom II X4 B55 Processor
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE (1GB)
  • 4GBs of ram
I also have a wiimote with Motion+ (I don't think you can emulate it with a keyboard/controller as of now). Like I said you should check out the Dolphin website. There's plenty of help to be found there.

I suggest you get some info from the Dolphin wiki/forums before you start.

Just remember that the emulation isn't perfect. On newer revisions of Dolphin there are numerous visual glitches in Skyward Sword. With the recommended version and all the enhancements I need, my computer can't even run it and 30 fps.

EDIT: Actually, it runs fine now. I didn't realize EFB copies to ram was enabled by default.

Twilight Princess got a 9.7 on Gametrailers, while Skyward Sword got a 9.1. That's why I think it's odd.
You're on to something. I suspect some kind of bribery is involved.

ya 9.1 is a good score but everyone knows GT's cutoff for "amazing" is 9.3-up
No. According to completely objective sciences, 9.2 is amazing.

A B+ from 1up & 9.1 from GT is odd to me, that's all.

2 different scores? One of them is obviously lying.

I've been using a Frostbite/sword combo fro most of the game. However, my favorite thing to do is use the first shout you get. There's nothing more satisfying then screaming a bear of the side of a mountain. Or knocking all the silverwear and food off a table while someone is eating.

@Mr_Skeleton: It's good to know you don't need to reequip your pants every time you hulk out.
