SteamStats still have the same problem as GB. I don't think Valve should expect every tracker side to change their code just because they wanted to try something new with one game. "
I don't know how GB parses the xml code that you can get from the game steam stats (normally you do:  http://steamcommunity.com/id/USERNAME/stats/GAME/achievements?xml=1), but you have to do a workaround for Alien Swarm ( http://steamcommunity.com/id/USERNAME/stats/AlienSwarm/achievements?tab=achievements&xml=all ) .

If someone tells whomever in GB makes the achievements script work (if he/she doesn't know this already), the problem might be sorted.

Yup, I definitely remember playing this! I remember thoroughly enjoying it.

Just wanted to say that, so you're not alone in the world :)

@Eight:  It's supposed to be showcase of the Source engine's capabilities. the code was released so modders can make new games out of it.

I don't think it was supposed to be very original.

@Biohazard237:  Have you tried the FPS pack released in the steam forums? It's basically an autoexec.cfg file you put in the alien swarm folder and it reduces the games graphics quality significantly.

Also if you're using Vista, you can run the game with "disable desktop composition" (or something similar, in the shortcut properties).

I'd like some X-com turn based mission functionality, or something like that.

I bought only the first 3 because GWEN it's a f-ing waste of money.

GWEN has 80% of the dungeons and more heroes, how can that be a waste of money?

P.S.: You're right about the amount of subscribers, i must have pulled that number out of somewhere.
