" Did they do any analysis of the first game to see where people were dying a lot, and giving up? Are they trying to address that?
I don't mind challenging games, but I don't like frustrating ones.

Well, what would you do to address said "problems"? all you lost were souls, so you take that out of the equation and what is the punishment for dying? imo one of the greatest things about the game is that you truly fear for your life, they can make it as hard as they want, but if dying is completely meaningless, as in 99% of modern games, there will no challenge.
who cares about movies anyway, it's the inferior form of entertainment, games rule.
on a more serious note yeah, I think he'll be writing the same amount of stuff for both sites, it's just that there's not much to talk about movies these days I guess.

It was hard, if you tried playing it like a regular action RPG, as long as you take your time and don't go ramboing all around then yes, it isn't that hard at all.
But it also depends on what you went for, if you went for magic then yes, it's basically the very easy mode of the game, I went for pure melee, didn't called for a single blue phantom, so yeah, it was pretty challenging.

That's true, my play through was mainly in soul form because my character was pure melee, I did try to stay alive after beating the bosses for as long as I could though, but eventually you end up dying one way or the other, I just didn't bother to use the stones to live again since soul form worked quite ok for me anyway.
