I can't remember crying over a video game to be honest.. But when I beat Legend of Zelda OoT for the very first time I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of pride and wonderment, I might have had tears in my eyes.. I honestly can't remember, I was 10 and had never played a game like that before.

Hasn't happened with any game since then, That I am sure of.

Congratulations to PC gamers! I'm happy for you all.

I played it a little bit on 360 and thought that it was really good, but never really got too far into it. I can't really say why, I just never felt compelled to finish it.

@thedj93: I haven't seen Pitch Black, so I couldn't tell ya.

@meaninoflife42: Most of the time, you'd be right, but he was actually super-offended. The Enis book was for Leon, andthe Zardoz DVD was for Korey. He thought I was giving him a "Nigel" gift, but he got VERY upset and ranted for about twenty minutes. When he finally opened Nigel's gift, he was too exhausted to even be annoyed. I kinda get it; I sent Leon a $20 comic book and Korey a $7 DVD that seemed like garbage. But I fucking love Zardoz, so that was definitely the more personal gift. I've occasionally listened to reviews since, but my motivation to use the site is totally drained.

(cc: @mariachimacabre)

Going on a rant over not getting a free gift of equal worth? Man, that guy sounds professional.

dude sounds like an idiot. Zardos is a great movie, its just hard to get through the whole thing

That sounds really rude.. I'm an uneducated, blue collar moron and that just sounds really low class to me. Most people won't throw a tantrum over a gift they received.. especially from a fan who doesn't need to give them anything but support for their work ( if they deserve it that is). I mean really, It's a gift! it's just a token of appreciation.. I'm sorry, hearing this makes me upset.

On topic: I never really got into Screened. I was there for a little bit when Alex and Rorie were running things and really loved it.. But after what happened, happened, I sort of just phased out.. I miss the site too for what it's worth.

Off the top of my head I'd like to see games start at a lower price than 60 dollars, I'd like a higher focus on digital storefronts, and while I'm fantasizing.. I'd like developers to always target 60 frames per second, seriously.. the game doesn't have to look so amazing that it runs like ass on these consoles. If you have to scale back the graphics to get that constant 60 fps DO IT.

When I was 17... I... I.. rubbed one out to the DOA: Xtreme Beach Volleyball trailer they had on Xbox live. 7 years later I still feel disgusted with myself...

OH GOD! being a teenager was fucking terrible!

I remember hearing about people getting married in WoW before ever having played it. I didn't know if it was an actual system in the game or not.. But sometimes you see it happening in SW cathedral and I still don't fully understand it. I think people hold their weddings in the game so their online friends can take part in it, and then actually get married in the real world.

Anyways, I totally don't see a problem with same sex marriage in any capacity, and further to that I think that if square is putting in an honest to buttons marriage system in their game then they should totally have an option for same sex marriage. I really don't see why not.

I think this is more of a Canadian thing than anything.. I've known lots of people who spell shit like "Definately" instead of "Definitely" or "Common" when they mean to say "Come on/C'mon"

That's probably why a lot of you guys haven't seen it too much. But I can tell you right now, as one of the few Canadians with at least half of a functioning brain.. It drives me insane.

@seppli: So how about put cameras in all the rooms of your home to prevent you from committing any crime? How about a GPS on your car to give you automatic fines every time you break a traffic law? How about breathalizers in every car to make sure you aren't driving drunk? How about every person having to give mandatory drug tests on a monthly basis? Why not? You aren't committing any crimes, right? You aren't driving drunk or doing any drugs? You should be OK with all of this.

Freedom is fundamentally dangerous. Those are the cold, hard facts. Live free and take a little responsibility for yourself and your own safety or just dive head first into slavery. The safest place you could ever be is locked in a padded cell, fed three meals a day. How about that? Everybody would be so safe.

Why don't I want to be in a database? Because history shows that it will be abused. Ever heard of eugenics? Or did you know that Hitler used IBM punch card machines to log and keep track of Jews within concentration camps? "The Powers That Be" have historically been far worse than the individual. The individual can only get away with so much. A corrupt government becomes a boulder rolling down a hill that is so much harder to stop.

Thank you for saying what I didn't have the mental capacity at the moment to say.

@seppli this is why I don't like this idea.. It really makes me uncomfortable.

@seppli: Yeah it would make finding criminals easier, no one is denying that.. But where does it end?

like I said "would the increased security/peace of mind even be worth it?" This just seems to be really shaky ground from where I'm sitting.
